Farage could have expressed his feelings about the horrific murder in parliament today, as is his job. Instead he chose to release a video at 8am inciting violence. That is exactly how Hitler behaved, who, incidentally, was also very rich.

The net zero economy now supports 1.1m UK jobs and generates £105bn in economic value - proof that tackling climate change & growing the economy can go hand in hand. Carbon Budget 7 laid in Parliament today provides certainty to help unlock more investment and energy security.

The scenes this evening in Portswood are completely unacceptable. The Nowak family made a powerful call to us all yesterday to not let Henry’s death be used to create further division, hatred or tension. There can be no justification for hijacking this tragedy to stir up violence and disorder. Those responsible can expect to face the full force of the law. I thank the police who have tonight shown great bravery and calm in the face of disgraceful violence directed at them.

remember like a month ago when zach polanski retweeted a member of the public's concerns about police conduct and all of politics came screeching to a halt for the day to condemn such a wholly inappropriate political interference into operational policing?

A student once tried to insult my wife right in front of me. It didn't go the way he expected. My wife and I both teach at the same university. Different departments. She's brilliant, but she's never been the most outgoing person in a room. Around people she doesn't know, she can come across as quiet, awkward, even a little distant. I stopped by her classroom one afternoon before her lecture started. Just wanted to see if she wanted coffee. Me: You want anything from the café? Her: I'm good. She smiled, shook her head, and went back to organizing her notes. Nothing unusual. As I turned to leave, one of her students stopped me. Student: Wait... you're married to her? Me: Last time I checked. He laughed. Student: Seriously? Me: Yeah. Student: Huh. Then he glanced toward her desk and smirked. Student: So what does a guy like you see in a woman like that? For a second I wasn't even sure I'd heard him correctly. Me: A woman like what? Student: You know... He lowered his voice. Student: She's kind of... weird. A couple students nearby suddenly got very interested in their laptops. The room got quiet. I looked over at my wife. She was completely unaware of the conversation and still sorting through papers. Then I looked back at him. Me: Yeah, I see the difference. Student: Exactly. He thought I was agreeing with him. Big mistake. Me: She's going home tonight with someone who adores her. Me: And you're still trying to impress strangers. The entire room went silent. Student just stood there blinking. At that exact moment my wife looked up. Her: Everything okay? Me: Yeah. I walked over, kissed her on the forehead, and grabbed my coffee from her desk. The class immediately started laughing. One student actually started clapping. My wife turned bright red. The student who made the comment didn't say another word. And honestly? That was the longest lecture he attended all semester.

Farage has been hiding for weeks to avoid scrutiny over his financial affairs. Today he stood alone in a field with no media scrutiny again to use the murder of a young man to rage bait his supporters. He is an abhorrent piece of shit.

Farage, of course, has form. He did it after the Southport murders. He’s doing it again after the murder or Henry Nowak. He looks to divide and destroy rather than unite and build.

One day Farage will go too far, people will finally see him for the hate filled, narcissistic turd he really is. He doesn’t want to improve this nation he wants to divide it, he wants to profit from it and laugh in the faces of all those daft enough to believe in him.

Farage is sick. He's just made an "emergency address" where he exploited the tragic death of a young person, Henry Nowak, to push his hate fuelled agenda and try to deflect from the very serious allegations of bribery and misconduct levelled against him. Farage is scum.

It seems Farage didn't bother to attend the Commons debate today on the death of Henry Nowak. He would rather commit online hate crime instead.

Number of people asking me to comment on the Henry Nowak case. His father said "We do not want his death to be used to create further division, hatred or tension". If you can't respect his wishes, you're scum. That's what I think.

This morning Nigel Farage delivered what he called an "emergency address to the nation." He is the leader of a private limited company. He has 5 MPs. He streamed it on X. Here is what he actually said. He opened with the murder of 18-year-old Henry Nowak and bodycam footage of the police response. The footage raises genuine questions about the conduct of the officers present. Those questions deserve serious scrutiny. What followed was not serious scrutiny. "Our institutions don't care about Henry Nowak because he is white." "White lives matter too." "The rights and privileges of white people matter less than those of ethnic minorities in Britain today." He compared Henry Nowak's final words - "I can't breathe" - to George Floyd's. Not out of sympathy. To invert the argument. To tell his audience that the same framework now applies to white victims, and that the silence of politicians proves a two-tier culture. Then came the destination he was always heading for. "Without anybody being asked, without anybody ever voting for it, we've been subjected to mass immigration on a scale that is truly unbelievable. At least 10 million new people have come to Britain in the last 20 years. Many of these communities have not integrated." A murder. A dying teenager. And Farage used it to get to that paragraph. He ended with condolences to the family. The family asked for dignity. Farage called for cold hard rage. That is what an emergency address to the nation looks like in 2026.
