#Cancer update: Having yet another thoracentesis this morning to drain more fluid off my lung. Cancer is one awful procedure after another. This is my third thoracentesis. We should talk more about what cancer patients actually go through. Healing thoughts and prayers welcome.

@clhubes I had my son 4 days before Thanksgiving. I liked that timing because it was cooling off outside by the time I reached my third trimester and I got all the winter holidays off from work.

Hi everyone. It’s Shannon-Jason’s spouse aka Mrs. Canuck. I wanted to share the news of his passing here as it was such a major part of his journey. Jason passed away Friday, April 5th peacefully with his Dad and I by his side. Jason was an amazing human and I feel so grateful to have had him as my partner for 8 years. He has impacted so many people which is evident with all of these mentions and messages. He gave us all a masterclass in grit, compassion, empathy, grace and humour right to the end.
