Phones de-risk everything in life. Yes, drinking and most drug usage is down. But so is friendship, marriage, and fertility. Socialization and sex in young adults collapsed with phones. The lack of teen rebelliousness is not because society is more pious, either. It used to be that parents needed to encourage their kids to stay out of trouble; "don't get drunk, don't get someone pregnant, don't be out all night." Now those same kids stay indoors, don't see anybody, don't have hobbies or life experience, and don't do anything. That's the 'pious' society of today. A little of bit rebelliousness turned kids into adults who understood costs and benefits and developed a sense of a personal moral code. Now those same kids think people with different political views want to kill them and that they're wrong for actually trying in life because it could end in failure. Now, those same kids have no desire to see the world when they can play video games, see what their friends are up to online, and have no boredom/driving/travel/downtime by staying home all day. Phones are not a new development of an old trend, they completely rewire dopaminergic pathways in the brain and our perception of social networks around us. The way you experience social environments and sociosexual interactions - two of our most primal instincts - is changed. That is not the same as the development of "rock and roll" or comic books. Constant access to entertainment and information has been profoundly destructive.

The Trump administration has deported ~750k people. They have been slowed by the lack of existing infrastructure and don’t target mass enclaves. If House and Senate Republicans want deportations to continue in the future, they need to be building up deportation infrastructure like mass transit and holding facilities. The window in the Trump administration is closing, so GOP deportation efforts needs to set us up properly for the future.

It was radical when Democrats opened the border to millions of people from all over the planet. It was radical when they used your tax dollars to fly them all over the nation and change the culture of entire towns overnight. Deporting illegals is a moderate solution to a severe problem Democrats created.
