I don't find any of these attached arguments compelling as actual low-carb high protein studies have been shown to cause extra sodium losses out in the urine with an increased need for sodium of around 600-900 mg per day due to the natriuretic effect of animal protein. These extra losses of sodium on low carb diets have been shown to even significantly drop serum sodium levels in humans (see attached).
