KCCA suspends on-street vehicle parking along Kampala and Jinja roads: from the Entebbe Road junction to Jinja Road/Yusuf Lule junction (Kitgum House). “This change has been implemented to improve traffic flow, enhance safety for all road users, and support better mobility within the Central Business District.” states @KCCAUG This is a very welcome and long overdue move. @Buzeki_Sharifah does this also include the Boda-Bodas, those parked on the road and those riding on pedestrian walkways? #SafeRoadsSaveLives

@SpireJim @SsengendoNass These cars are different but same specs. She bought the AAA 1, a month before parliament got her a similar one for official use. This is the official one.

Lazy broke people cannot understand how in just a few years a Speaker can acquire a 3 billion Rolls Royce, a RangeRover, and gift hubby a RangeRover too… unveil a palatial home, a teaching hospital, construct a stadium, build a multimillion structure on Mutungo hill, pay off a house in Nakasero, shop clothes from high end UK shops … Just work hard, you can also acquire that. We are a rich country, look for your own wealth. #UgandaParliamentExhibition

Day 2 of the Kampala Metropolitan System Improvement Project site visit saw UETCL host the Minister of Energy and Mineral Development, Hon. Ruth Nankabirwa Ssentamu, as she assessed progress at the Namungoona, Mutundwe, and Buloba substations. The visit concluded at the Buloba Substation, successfully energized on 19 April 2026, a key milestone in strengthening power reliability across the Kampala Metropolitan Area. In her remarks, the Minister noted that the project serves one of Uganda’s most densely populated regions and reaffirmed Government’s commitment to strategic energy infrastructure that supports reliable electricity supply, industrial growth, and national development. She also commended the project teams for the steady progress achieved so far and called upon Ugandans to protect national transmission infrastructure by reporting vandalism, emphasizing that reliable electricity is a shared national responsibility.

Uganda 🇺🇬 Airlines Update: After hours someone from @UG_Airlines called me to understand what happened. I explained and he also explained the wire transfer had reflected but still doing internal review to know where the money is. He was very professional. Also one is the big issues I had was an exit stamp at airport yet I didn’t exit. He connected me to the supervisors at the airport to facilitate the cancellation of the stamp with immigration. I left my hotel in Kampala and traveled to the airport to meet the supervisors who were nice and professional. Supervisor Annah Wangombe explained to the immigration supervisor what happened before I was interrogated. Stamp was canceled and not much questioning was done. We are now still waiting for more payment reviews tomorrow to know way forward.

Hehehehe, guys here let greed cloud their reasoning. I had thrown out Eco Mart Bbunga for substituting MoMoPa y with PesaPal. I told their Management that there is no wa y you force me to withdraw money yet it is what I was avoiding by opting to use MoMoPay. I also advised them to decide which business they want to engage in i.e. to choose between Mobile Money agency and Supermarket retailing! Also @mtnmomoug and @airtelmoneyug are failing to figure out the whole concept of POS transactions by introducing stupid charges on transactions. They should try to understand why POS transactions are never charged within the banking/card system. When you decide to involve yourself in the finance business, you actually need to hire finance professionals to do proper business modelling for you. There are no two ways about this!

.@FraineSupermar1 ndowoza we start our love affair here.😝🤭 Anyway, good stuff you have over there. I liked the food area, although all I picked were greens with obutula; ebirara butto ne bizari binji - Dr. Kasenene yabitugana.😝 Also, I won’t buy your fruits soon, you can’t be measuring for me a pawpaw of 4,000/-, wari mu katale, for me to buy it from you at 7,000/-. Ngaha. Namwe yikonome mujirabe.🤭 I loved the merchant payment. You have saved me the payway costs at most of those Gaba Rd supermarkets, because why are you charging me for paying you goods of which I have already been taxed (VAT). It makes no sense. On a scale, you have my 8/10.👊🏾
