Today marks exactly four years since Putin started his three-day push to take Kyiv. And that says a great deal about our resistance, about how Ukraine has fought all this time. Behind those words stand millions of our people, immense courage, incredibly hard work, endurance, and the long path Ukraine has been pursuing since February 24. Looking back at the beginning of the invasion and reflecting on today, we have every right to say: we have defended our independence, we have not lost our statehood; Putin has not achieved his goals. He has not broken Ukrainians; he has not won this war. We have preserved Ukraine, and we will do everything to secure peace and justice. Glory to Ukraine!

For four years, Ukraine has endured a full-scale invasion—and refuses to break. Through loss and daily hardship, Ukrainians remain united and determined, defending their sovereignty and values despite the immense human cost.

@isi_malfoy_ @ldymusyc I think it's just a natural end to a chapter for the fandom. Musyc has been running it for fifteen years and it's time to bring it to a gentle close, maybe, which I can understand! That's a long time to be running something. It feels like a nice round year to conclude it <3

Today marks the 1,276th day of the full-scale war. Ukraine has been standing in the war against Russia for its independence longer than anyone in the world expected. This is the result of the patriotism and effectiveness of our people. The result of our warriors who heroically fight for our state and destroy the occupier. I am grateful to each and every one of you, in all our defense and security forces, for the strength you give Ukraine and for every result you deliver. Undoubtedly, a strong and capable Ukrainian army is the most reliable security for our people. But we also need strong security guarantees from all those who seek peace. Every day, together with the United States, Europe, and all our partners, we work to guarantee security. Ukraine must achieve its goals, and these goals are just: to protect lives, to defend independence, and to secure a dignified peace for Ukraine.

If you write ‘unalive’ in prose or character dialogue, in your NOVEL - which I have seen TWICE NOW - I will immediately wince and full body cringe. The TikTokification of words has to stop. Your character almost DIED or was KILLED in your novel. They were not almost ‘unalived’.

Unfortunately, many international media and organizations still use outdated, russified versions – a legacy of imperial narratives that aimed to erase Ukraine’s identity. We invite you to use the correct forms: Kyiv, not Kiev Kharkiv, not Kharkov Chernihiv, not Chernigov Chornobyl, not Chernobyl … and more 🇺🇦 These names matter. They reflect language, culture, and the right to self-identification. Small changes like this help us move toward greater understanding and accuracy. The reason most fandoms are miserable now a days is bc a lot of people go into them with extreme main character syndrome or the intention to build a following & be a “big account” instead of actually contributing to being a part of a community, being cringe and having fun
