It was a profoundly enriching experience to interact with the students of Classes XI and XII at K.R. Mangalam World School, Greater Kailash-II, New Delhi (@krmwsgk2), during a session on my book ‘Tryst with Ayodhya: Decolonisation of India’ on Monday (July 28) at noon.
The school, which has approximately 2,600 students from pre-nursery to Grade 12, demonstrated exceptional academic excellence and cultural awareness. The participating students posed intelligent and well-informed questions, reflecting a strong understanding of India's civilisational ethos and the historical issues surrounding #Ayodhya.
What was most heartening was the students' high level of #cultural rootedness. Their #discipline, #curiosity, and #clarity of thought gave me immense confidence in our nation's promising future. Institutions like K.R. Mangalam World School are clearly nurturing a generation that excels academically and remains connected to its #civilisational foundations. The credit for this excellence surely belongs to the teachers, supporting staff, and Mrs Jyoti Gupta, the school's director principal.
