While we cannot guarantee this outcome, every NES employee is working toward this goal and striving to resume power flow to as many customers impacted by the storm as possible by this time. Crews will continue to work around the clock in the restoration effort. The latest numbers: •Customers currently without power: 17,092 •Total outages at storm’s peak: 115,000 •Restored outages to date: 97,000 •Total number of broken poles: 95 •Number of crews currently in the field (14-hour shifts): 81 •Current areas with largest outages: Sharondale Drive & Davidson Road

#NESOutageAlert 1:30 pm NES crews have reduced the number of power outages by 86,000 from the storm’s peak at 115,000. At this hour, about 29,000 customers are still without power, and crews are working around the clock in the restoration effort. The number of broken power poles has risen to 77, and multiple teams are necessary to repair each pole. NES is fully staffed with 89 crews working throughout the city. The largest outages at this time are in Hendersonville (1,800 customers) and Bellevue (1,500 customers) although those numbers are decreasing as progress continues in both areas. Customers should report outages, especially if they’ve gotten a message from NES that power is restored but it’s not. This means there is likely further damage closer to your home. They can call 615-736-6900, text “OUT” to 637797 (mobile phone must be tied to account) or report it online, either by logging into their account at NESPower.com or reporting it on the outage map at NESPower.com/outages.

@MBTA a bit of friendly feedback, arriving at Union Square stop, 2 trains w/doors open, not knowing which will leave first most folks got on the train to the left. The train on the right was barely full but took off first. Only open doors to the train ready to leave first 🤷🏻‍♀️🙏🏼

Visited Revere Beach today and was lucky enough to spot a nesting Piping Plover pair. DCR ornithologist was watching them too and she told me this pair has been nesting here for 5 years. This is their second brood (the first failed) and they're expected to hatch in 2 weeks!
