27 Republicans are holding the entire Commonwealth hostage by refusing to pass a fair and equitable budget. It’s been months and Senate Republicans continue to play games with the lives of Pennsylvanians. Our economy is the best in the Northeast because the Shapiro-Davis Administration knows how to budget and where to invest our resources. It’s time for Republicans to take responsibility and pass a budget that will actually work for PA.

August 4th is a big milestone! Ten years ago today, I won a special election where we flipped a seat in the #PAHouse that most people thought would never go blue. That election changed the course of my life & I’m so grateful for everything we’ve been able to accomplish together!

I’ll be honest, it’s a challenging time to serve in elected office. The increase in violence against elected officials & the chaos in Washington weigh on me. But I can't imagine being anywhere else that could have a bigger impact on the issues I care about & serve my community.

For everyone following our fight to hold our one-seat Democratic Majority in the #PAHouse, here’s an update. It all comes down to Frank Burns in Cambria County, where they are currently hand-counting votes due to systemic failures w/ printed ballots. Currently at 101-101!
