@LisaBritton That's the sign of a good man, a reminder that most men are good, despite what we are told by those who would like us to think otherwise

I was just on the subway in NYC with my mom. We were sitting in a corner and a man entered, panhandling, who sadly was not in the best mental state. We, like others, tensed up a bit. He started coming towards our corner, and a man sitting across from us took out his wallet, grabbed a couple bucks, and gave it to the man, implying he was covering all of us, like he was with my mom and I. The panhandling man took the cash and walked away, and the stranger gave me a look and nod. He didn’t have to do that. How protective and kind.

@HelenSparkles @DeboraMontesoro Lots of groups and individuals make false claims that it's junk science such as @DrProudman and her like, they deny the trauma of alienated children and parents alike, it's shameful of them to deny other ppls trauma just becos it doesn't fit with their ideology.

Proudman & Tickle have plenty to say about PA being a hoax and women don’t lie about abuse. This tragic case with Proudman for the mother & Tickle aware of an urgent application before the father (how’s it possible I wonder) — tells the ugly truth. And the silence is deafening.

@HerrHusten @kelly9141925931 @PhilMitchell83 You must have a negative world view and easily come to conclusions if you equate criticism with hatred. I guess your not one for dialectical thinking then! Just because someone criticises something doesn't mean they hate that thing, Jeez.

“Men initiated war so men can fight it” we’re told There’s a big difference *men* initiating war & a subset of *powerful decision making men* initiating war Don’t lump general men in with these men This is the apex fallacy

@kelly9141925931 @PhilMitchell83 Wars are started by some men, and then men that had no say in the starting of wars are then forced to fight them. Those are the facts, lets keep feelings out if this and stick to the facts shall we

@PhilMitchell83 @lee_azevado Your post is an exaggeration to mislead people. Thats a lie. Same thing because your fans take it as more women have started wars than men and then go on to argue this misinformation. It's clear you hate women and make your entire account on hate propaganda.

"Why don't men report?" Men do report at a lesser rate than women. Dr. Hines found that when abused men report to law enforcement, a substantial portion were not believed or aided, and a substantial portion were arrested even if they presented injury but the female abuser did not. This study finds that in sexual assault reporting, compassion and aid is reserved for female victims. Male victims of any sexual orientation were provided less aid and empathy while facing higher rates of victim blaming and perpetrator excusal. This is a disturbing insight to the impact of gendered victim support. journals.sagepub.com/doi/abs/10.117…

Every week I see & speak with men who have experienced all manner of adversity We hear that men don’t feel fear Utter nonsense Men fear not seeing their kids; being falsely accused; & (despite what we hear) walking alone at night We just rarely ask them about this

@kelly9141925931 @PhilMitchell83 Tell that to my two poor grandfather's who got enlisted into fighting in two world wars, god rest their souls. I prefer sticking to the truth in such matters.

If #ParentalAlienation is pseudo science, as its cold hearted deniers would have us believe, why do we have both heartbroken and traumatised mums and dads in our PA therapy groups? Shame on those that deny the trauma of others just becos it doesnt fit their narrative

@men_are_human I was accused of abuse, never did it, I could prove the allegations were false, I could also prove my kids mother was actually the abuser, family court didn't care, and I haven't sen any of my kids since 2016! Such headlines only take one side. Disgusting behaviour from the BBC.

“Why don’t men go to therapy? Ugh!” Well, maybe if there were more male-led and male-focused therapy solutions—male psychologists and therapists who understand them—more men would go! I believe we need programs to encourage more young men to enter these fields.

The problem is that most therapists are liberal women in their 30s with no real insight or life experience. People say that more men should go to therapy, but no self-respecting man is going to bring his problems to a woman his own age or younger. If I ever went to therapy (which I probably wouldn’t) it would have to be a man at least 15 years older than me with some gravitas and wisdom.

therapy only works if you have a lower IQ than the therapist
