Laura Bush or Michelle Obama would have already visited food banks, hospitals, people who are sick or have lost their jobs. This first instead is more concerned about her tennis court. How do you say Let them eat cake in Slovenia or whatever Eastern European country she's from?

@dvanb735 I should have known that I needed to take into account the 24/7 security that Donnie has anyway for you smooth brain Trumpkins. Also, the Secret Service is actually being funded right now. So your "clever take" isn't all that clever. But nice try though.

@TonySeruga Those were bottles of wine that they won at the wine auction. No taxpayer dollars are used in the WHCA Dinner. These are all simple things you can do with ten seconds of research. You were probably a really shitty cop.

🚨Oh, look at that—America's "watchdogs of democracy" didn't just fail the vibe check at the White House Correspondents' Dinner last night. They straight-up looted the joint like it was the apocalypse, and the only thing worth saving was the open bar. While shots rang out, the President was being yanked offstage by Secret Service, and the entire ballroom was one trigger-pull away from turning into a national nightmare, what were these tuxedoed truth-tellers doing? Filing urgent dispatches? Checking on colleagues? Showing one ounce of basic human concern? Nah. They were playing human Roomba on the tabletops—grabbing bottles of wine and champagne two at a time, stuffing them into camera bags, under jackets, down blouses, whatever fit. One blonde in a black jacket looked like she was training for the Olympic wine-heist relay. Another kept casually nibbling her dinner like it was just another Tuesday, and the gunfire was ambient noise. Bro, the President almost got assassinated. and your priority was playing "how many free Cabernets can I smuggle out before security notices?" These are the same smug, pearl-clutching hacks who spend every waking hour lecturing the rest of us about "civility," "empathy," "moral leadership," and how we're the ones destroying the country. The ones who cry "threat to democracy" if you question their narrative. The ones who virtue-signal about compassion while calling half the country garbage. Turns out their moral compass doesn't point north—it points straight to the nearest unopened bottle of Dom. Congratulations, media. You didn't just expose your hypocrisy; you speed-ran it on camera. While the nation held its breath wondering if the President was okay, you proved you're not elite journalists. You're not even good looters. You're the people who show up to a black-tie event, watch bullets fly, and think, "Perfect—now's my chance for a free case of bubbly." At least actual looters wait for the power to go out. You did it with the lights on, in formalwear, live on X. Classy. Real classy. Now go write your 3,000-word think piece about how this was actually Trump's fault for making the wine too tempting. We'll wait. With our own bottles. That we paid for.

@gregkellyusa Two weeks ago you'd have been celebrating someone assaulting one of Swalwell's family members in a botched home invasion just because you don't agree with him. Now all you MAGA types are all "Oh... I didn't KNOW you enjoyed raping women. Hashtag JUSICE for my king!"

I Never liked Eric Swalwell. “Fang Fang”-running for President when he was 19, to “moonlighting” as a model for the SEARS Catalogue-he’s just Awful. BUT when someone is ACCUSED by an ANONYMOUS Person the week before an election? That is NOT RIGHT. They say the “assault” happened in 2024? Two years ago? Why not GO TO THE COPS right after it happened? And dont give me that “I couldn’t. He’s too powerful” nonsense. They pulled this CRAP on Trump. IT was wrong then, It’s Wrong Now. Even when it involves the Silly Eric Swalwell. JUSTICE.

Did you not read the story? They burned a sign not the church. The left destroyed entire city blocks in 2020. I could literally make a list that would last hundreds of pages of left-wing violence just over the last 10 years. You have one incident that was predicated over a stolen election. Would you like to do one for one? Because we can do that, but you’re gonna run out of stuff about a week before I do.

I am so confused. How in the world did "the violent left" assemble 8 million people in over 3,000 locations across the country without a single incident of violence? No one even assaulted a police officer I was told the left were violent and hated America. What gives? 🤯

Calling “Google 1967” like it’s a mic-drop only works if you actually grapple with what happened. Egypt didn’t just posture—it closed the Straits of Tiran (a recognized act of war), expelled UN peacekeepers without resistance, and massed 80,000 troops on Israel’s border while coordinating with neighboring states. That’s not some abstract “tension,” that’s a textbook casus belli under international law. Pretending Israel just woke up and chose aggression ignores the sequence that made conflict all but inevitable. And let’s not gloss over the UN’s role—you know full well those forces withdrew immediately when asked, removing the last buffer precisely when escalation was peaking. Everyone involved understood what that meant. So framing 1967 as if Israel had no legitimate claim to self-defense isn’t just oversimplified—it’s willfully selective. If you’re going to tell people to “Google,” at least don’t skip the parts that destroy your narrative.

@mehdirhasan @YoniMichanie You wouldn’t accept this framing if Ukraine had bombed Russia after it had amassed all its troops on ITS border. I don’t think you’re morally consistent

The President has a real opportunity at the State of the Union: Bring the country together. Remind us who we are. We saw it for brief moments recently celebrating Olympic medal wins by Team USA. Politics disappeared and we were simply Americans cheering together. We need more of that.
