@GreenAttackDog @oxfordjessicas Most taxed country in the world - absolutely nothing works. Why do you think the answer is more taxes collected? Incomprehensible you think taking more money off the very few successful people is the answer.

@GuidoFawkes @DCBMEP I cannot comprehend why they said it’s not political before they bothered to check any evidence. This is catastrophic for the police. They said it whilst they had the wrong man in custody. Multiple police officers should be sacked for this

@thatsootyy Angelina hates men. Projects onto her kids. She doesn’t speak to her dad and dropped his last name and histories repeating itself. Toxic. She’s notoriously difficult and nobody has a bad word to say about him.

@catturd2 Angelina has money. If it’s true that he physically assaulted the son on an airplane that’s why. However when there are kids involved I think there must be accountability for both parents, after all they chose to be together.

@DickDelingpole All large studies show vaccinated people have a lower mortality rate. All studies. The contraceptive pill has more deaths and side effects than Covid vaccination. Why do you only bleat about one?

Phone conversation with an old friend commenting on the amount of premature deaths he’s noticed lately. He says “I’m starting to think you might have been right about the vaccine.” Felt like a very hollow victory.

@leedsonandon @DeanEggitt Many GPs also participate in research, have other work, have caring/parenting responsibilities (like many of us). It isn't illegal to work part-time. Part-time in GP is also often equivalent to full-time hours elsewhere.

I start work as a GP at 7:30am. My first appointment is 8:30. In that first hour, I am working on tasks, prescriptions, letters and test results. Some of these are urgent - meaning I can start my first appointment late form time to time. There's a reason for everything.

For those that don't know: Ann Widdecombe was a staunch defender of the policy of handcuffing pregnant women in prison to their beds as they went through labour. She also refused access to prisoners who required midwives and antenatal care.

🚨 NEW: An Aberdeen University employee is being investigated after saying she hoped Ann Widdecombe suffered an "extremely painful death” "I hope she was handcuffed to the bed as she screamed in agony"

@tomhfh So basically a sweep of his hard drive has dug up the motive. Maybe this is why you don’t scream NOT POLITICAL before you even have the right man and check all the evidence. What on earth were the police thinking

"Following new information and evidence"
Shabana Mahmood MP@ShabanaMahmood

This morning I have spoken to the head of @TerrorismPolice. Following new information and evidence, they are now leading on the investigation into the horrific murder of Ann Widdecombe. The police are pursuing multiple lines of enquiry to establish the motivation for this attack. I will be updating the House further this afternoon. My thoughts today remain with Ann’s family and friends, and all those who loved her.

@Room101SmithWin @IsabelOakeshott People speculate becuase the police are deceptive. Welsh choir Boy? You haven’t been stabbed? They would have been better saying nothing - jumping to a conclusion in a few hours of an investigation screams weaponised incompetence. Said it wasn’t political before caught him.??

@IsabelOakeshott You're speculating.Speculation weakens the prosecution's case if the defence can claim the public were biased. You have a voice & you're ruining the case. Are you proud? Why is Nigel "100% sure" it was politically motivated? Do the police need to interview him? What does he know?

What WOULD be political would be pretending a politically motivated murder is something else. I am not saying whether it is or it isn’t. I just very much hope that is not what’s happening here.

When schools hand out items they aren’t free. The school has paid for them. If a pupil is offered 1 item then the child shouldn’t take 2 & run away when challenged. This shouldn’t be defended. It’s theft.

NEW: A man suspected of murdering Ann Widdecombe is believed to have driven nearly 300 miles to her Dartmoor home with a “wooden stick” on the morning of her death. CCTV footage seen by The Telegraph appears to show a young man leaving an address linked to the suspect. Neighbours said they saw him putting “some kind of wooden stick” into the passenger side of a red car before driving off at around 7am on Wednesday morning, the day on which it is thought the former Tory MP was murdered. Ms Widdecombe’s remote Devonshire home is approximately a four-hour drive from where the suspect was arrested. From @fiona_parker14 and me. telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/07/1…

So police know Ann Widdecombe’s horrifying death was not a burglary gone wrong. The suspect drove nearly 300 miles to Ann’s home ‘with wooden stick’. But he wasn’t “politically motivated”? What was the motive? telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/07/1…
