My dad died when I was 22. The idea of someone else that age - left without the support of a parent - being forced to pay the government half of the money left behind to cushion that absence makes me feel sick.

@catturd2 Angelina has money. If it’s true that he physically assaulted the son on an airplane that’s why. However when there are kids involved I think there must be accountability for both parents, after all they chose to be together.

Phone conversation with an old friend commenting on the amount of premature deaths he’s noticed lately. He says “I’m starting to think you might have been right about the vaccine.” Felt like a very hollow victory.

This doesn't mean the police were wrong before. It just means there wasn't evidence until there was evidence. And there's a bit more to the police gathering evidence than "It's obvious, innit?"

@leedsonandon @DeanEggitt Many GPs also participate in research, have other work, have caring/parenting responsibilities (like many of us). It isn't illegal to work part-time. Part-time in GP is also often equivalent to full-time hours elsewhere.

I start work as a GP at 7:30am. My first appointment is 8:30. In that first hour, I am working on tasks, prescriptions, letters and test results. Some of these are urgent - meaning I can start my first appointment late form time to time. There's a reason for everything.

@stevedeek They were only removed once labour was onset and immediately after the child was delivered the chains were put back in place. So, yes. She was.

For those that don't know: Ann Widdecombe was a staunch defender of the policy of handcuffing pregnant women in prison to their beds as they went through labour. She also refused access to prisoners who required midwives and antenatal care.

@IsabelOakeshott You're speculating.Speculation weakens the prosecution's case if the defence can claim the public were biased. You have a voice & you're ruining the case. Are you proud? Why is Nigel "100% sure" it was politically motivated? Do the police need to interview him? What does he know?

What WOULD be political would be pretending a politically motivated murder is something else. I am not saying whether it is or it isn’t. I just very much hope that is not what’s happening here.

When schools hand out items they aren’t free. The school has paid for them. If a pupil is offered 1 item then the child shouldn’t take 2 & run away when challenged. This shouldn’t be defended. It’s theft.

I don’t support cancellation, whatever somebody has said, BUT, (and I’m a fan of big butts,) Herbert doesn’t even recognise how distasteful his comments were. I don’t want to see him lose his job, but he does need to be humbled.
