Paul forgets that it was Labour who sold off the corporation buses in Glasgow to the private sector unlike Edinburgh who still have a public bus service!

@WestLothianSGP Not the fault of bus operators, so a somewhat unfair statement. Do you expect them to run at a loss? Services are withdrawn because they're commercially unviable. Basic economics.

West Lothian deserves better buses. For too long, we've suffered from companies like McGills abandoning our communities, cutting services and hiking prices. We need affordable, reliable services run for people, not for profit!

@Sirlebert @johnadgrady Edinburgh Council, along with Midlothian, East Lothian & West Lothian Councils are shareholders in Lothian Buses. As shareholders they expect a dividend from the Lothian Buses, like any other shareholder does from a business.

I was accused by a passenger of stopping well past the bus stop due to excessive speed. CCTV showed otherwise. The passenger was subsequently advised on the correct method of hailing a bus.

I wasn't aware that the SNP ran a bus company... what routes do they do? Do they do all-day tickets? Is McGill's an SNP company? Is Lothian Buses an SNP company?

It wasn’t in bad condition. it has not worked today. Common sense would be, let him on bus, then he can get to school & tell us after

You have bus info that will identify driver. Chances are if buses are running empty through the area they'll be withdrawn at next service change.

I am referring to Lothian Bus Drivers who drive their completely empty buses down the road every 12 minutes
