I burned three different pine stumps in my front yard one summer. They all died at the same time from some kind of beetle that bored between the bark and the cambium. Each stump took about three weeks but it was glorious. Each one would smolder and smoke and burn and all I had to do was poke it with a stick to get it to flame up. My wife and I woukd get up, go out to sit in front of the ‘volcanos’ and drink our coffee. Once they were started, the resins from the sap stored in the root system fueled them enough that they never went out until they had burned a foot deep cavity in the ground about 4 feet in diameter. All in all, it was enjoyable, quiet, and free. I highly recommend it.

If you want to get rid of a stubborn stump, you could always torch it like a Viking funeral.
Sure, it's cheaper than renting heavy machinery, but calling it "fast" is like calling a snail speedy—technically true, but only if you're measuring in geological time. 🔥

Now that's what you would call a true root canal. 👀 It'll definitely get the job done and it's pain free (probably not for the stump though). 🪓🪵

@Savageboston It's well known that veterans and guys who are around the plate get favourable calls and vice versa with hitters. This isn't new. ABS takes away the chess match between pitchers and hitters. No one is remembering the moments on screen presented by T Mobile.
English

“I think starting pitchers that have pitched a long time deserve certain parts of the plate that other guys don’t get.”
Lmao 😭

Walker Buehler is NOT a fan of ABS.

@YouKnoImHim You're right, we should give more money to Israel. It's a boon to our economy right?
Let's make it 500 billion a year.
English

Theo Von's crash out makes it obvious that the fake shit from the woke right is dangerous,, man. Like him sayinf "All of our money goes to Israel". Wrong. It's a very small portion of our budget, but it's important to understand this too...
Almost every single dollar is sent right back into the U.S. economy, meaning it supports American jobs, provides an economic boost, and strengthens domestic defense manufacturing.
Almost all of it, 99% in fact, is provided in the form of Foreign Military Financing (FMF), which MUST be spent on U.S. produced military equipment, weapons systems, etc... which creates and sustains thousands jobs across the country.
U.S. aid DOES NOT pay for healthcare, or anything else in Israel. None at all.
The black pillers and groypers aren't capable of understanding much. They like to crash and spread false information.
I'll be called a "Jew", a "Cuck for Israel", and all kinds of shit for this post, and i don't care. It's important that people understand things.

@distributedkv Why is drippinpuff blue, shouldn’t they be yellow? I thought drippinclaw was blue, and dripperin was green..

@imzadi_hkr @ApoStructura agree to disagree, I think the principles America was founded on prioritize freedom over oversight

@latheredlippsy @CheekyMeeple secular winter holidays have been around since the beginning of basically any human traditions.
Where does it say 'Christmas'?
English

@CheekyMeeple Christmas has nothing to do with Warcraft but they force it on us every year.

A Japanese girl playing League of Legends on Twitch produced one of the most viral clips the community has ever seen
her name is Ruu. she's a vtuber. and her "NAISU GEMU" clip took over every platform
TikTok. Twitter. YouTube. everywhere. millions of views.
the entire western League community falling in love with a Japanese streamer who barely speaks English
and that's what's beautiful about it
she didn't go viral because of some insane mechanical outplay.
she didn't go viral because of high elo gameplay or a controversial take
she went viral because of pure genuine emotion for the game
it's raw. it's unfiltered.
it's exactly how every single one of us feels playing this game but we're too busy trying to be cool about it
the Japanese League community is different. they don't fake it. they don't put on a persona.
they just play the game with their whole heart.
And I respect that.
Ruu reminded the entire western community why we fell in love with this game in the first place
not the LP. not the rank. not the clout
the feeling of a NAISU GEMU
we forgot about that. she brought it back

Now that Japan sees our tweets, I’m curious what’s popping on Japanese YouTube? Like what videos do you guys watch over there

@tsuteyx @Asmongold @Pirat_Nation > No sane player cares if there is a dedicated event for gay people
Wrong
English

@Asmongold @Pirat_Nation No sane player cares if there is a dedicated event for gay people or not ingame, its completly optional. The game is fuckin amazing to this very day, way better in many ascepts than it was before.
English

@LouStagner Nothing, because I don't know the rules and I don't know how many clubs i'm allowed to have.
English

@G0dSoldier316 @orthobro @yoxics @theburntpeanut yeah I agree. You really have to define your goal:
Revenue max short term
Revenue max long term
Have fun and stream
Seems he's going mostly option 3 with a mix of 2? Respect to him.
English

@orthobro @yoxics @theburntpeanut I think you could care less about 30% or any of the bullshit. I don’t think money is an issue at this point to him just keeping the real community around him makes more sense who cares about money, especially when you already got it.
English

@SirDustyDirks @Mr_S3rv3r why don't game devs host with MasterCard then?
English

Steam’s 30% cut exploits its PC gaming monopoly, gouging developers. Service providers like credit card processors (2-3%), PayPal (3%), and Amazon Marketplace (8-15%) also deliver core infrastructure payments and sales platforms at far lower rates. There is no justifiable reason to charge that much money for a digital store unless you are greedy and willing to take advantage of others.

Valve: 350 employees
Epic Games: 4,000 employees
Valve: $17B annual revenue
Epic Games: $5-6B
Valve charges devs 30% of their revenue for simply listing their game.
Epic Games charges devs 0% revenue share on the first $1,000,000
Valve is one of the greediest companies in gaming. You cannot be pro valve and be pro developer at the same time.

@lemanadead @edgarrmcgregor @RobbieGramer This is the only thing people pay attention to because they can understand it🤷♂️ there is almost infinite data points pointing very clearly in one direction. But go ahead and keep living a lie.
English

@Mr_Giller @edgarrmcgregor @RobbieGramer two weeks ago we had un-seasonable cold. Stop picking a single data point to make your case.
English

@edgarrmcgregor @RobbieGramer And there is still people who believe global warming is a hoax. One of them even sits in the Oval Office. This is going to be fine🤡

@Ferd_Turgeson @DaltonHotTakes my god imagine they might have to get a RealID
English

@DaltonHotTakes Of course you did. There's no save act in place... That won't be good enough anymore
English

@adam___bomb @theseoguy_ you sell drinks, that's how basically every event / food business is profitable.
It's already illegal, might as well buy some $13 / handle vodka and pour it into the greygoose bottles
English

@theseoguy_ I don’t see how that’s very profitable. Paying dealers, paying off the gambling tables, travel, storage, prizes. Neat idea if you and your partners are the dealers and you are splitting costs / profits.
English

i have no idea if this is legal so don't come at me
but my friend runs a casino night in utah and it might be the coolest business i have seen in a while
you pay $20 at the door and he hands you a stack of monopoly money
real dealers on site running blackjack, texas hold'em, roulette, and craps all night
whoever accumulates the most monopoly money by the end of the night wins a prize
last week he gave away a brand new moped
he is getting hundreds of people through the door at $20 a head
and his next move is raising the price and taking it on the road as a pop-up casino night across the state
i don't know what his margins look like but i know a packed room of hundreds of people at $20 a head adds up fast
the creativity alone deserves respect
