Daily Devotional Sanctuary Within The kingdom of God is within you. Luke 17: 21 We are living in an age where every corner of the world is ran by deception.
Lies have become the language of power, and truth, uncomfortable, luminous truth, has been pushed to the edges.
Darkness dresses itself as light, and chaos calls itself progress. It’s easy to long for escape, to dream of a hidden sanctuary somewhere untouched by the noise, the greed, and the endless spin of falsehoods. But the truth we are craving isn’t waiting beyond the horizon. It’s already inside us. Jesus said it plainly “The kingdom of God is within you.”
That means the peace we’re chasing, the refuge we’ve been praying for, isn’t a place. It’s a presence.
Sanctuary isn’t built of brick or stone, it’s the honest space in our spirit where God already dwells. To enter it, we don’t have to flee the world. We have to turn inward, away from the world, the chatter, toward obedience, toward trust. The heart yielded to God is a cathedral that no darkness can enter, a light that no storm can extinguish. The world can lie, but truth still breathes inside those who honor Him.
The world can grow darker, but beauty still blooms wherever His name is spoke in love.
The world can rage with chaos, but the heart aligned with His will remains unshaken. Unbroken. Peace is not the absence of conflict, it is the company of the Comforter.
And the sanctuary we seek has never been far, it has always been waiting behind the simple act of surrender. My prayer 
Lord, this world is loud with deceit and heavy with fear.
Teach me to rest in the quiet center of Your truth.
Let beauty rise in me where bitterness and anger once lived.
Let Your peace reign where the world demands panic.
Remind me daily that Your sanctuary is not distant, not a far off place in the heavens, but dwells inside my heart that trusts in You fully.

Which means they would all happily do it all again. One just has to post something like this and the comments eventually prove I’m right. I still see people alone in their car with a mask on.
