@HannahDCox My daughter is 30 and I passed on it for her. I was on message board with other moms when it first came out and one mom posted how her daughter was having serious side effects. Another mom posted and then another the same. It was so new, I just opted out.

CONFIRMED: Becerra is the puppet of the unions who closed your child's school. Becerra means more of the same policies that produced some of the worst education outcomes in America. We need a governor who will fight for students and families, not special interest corruption.
California Teachers Association@WeAreCTA

CTA is proud to endorse Xavier Becerra for Governor. This November the choice is clear. Our students and communities deserve a leader who will stand up for public education.

@mtaibbi "His best friends might pull his briefs over his head or put him on a plane to Jakarta drunk or tattoo a bunghole on his forehead while sleeping" I feel sorry for you if your so-called best friends would seriously do this kind of shit to you.

If Elliot Page were a man, “he” would expect to be mocked by men for saying something dumb online. His best friends might pull his briefs over his head or put him on a plane to Jakarta drunk or tattoo a bunghole on his forehead while sleeping — but a “trans person” doesn’t want this acceptance, but silence. Why?

@mtaibbi I think you should just leave it alone. It’s a nothing statement and commenting on it, drawing attention to it with your platform is just training idiots (people who still read you) to clap and laugh at a trans person. Maybe the message isn’t FOR YOU, dude. Leave it alone.

@beagewill @mtaibbi No, when people make ridiculous statements they need to be called out. Shutting up and letting things go is how we got to the point where we are now.

I’m fully in support of her right to identify as whatever she wants and have any surgeries she wants, even if I think it’s sad. Once, that would have been considered “pro-trans.” By “anti trans” do you mean I also shouldn’t laugh at things she says?

@VishnuChintam @BretWeinstein I agree, cultures wars are a distraction from more important issues. It’s a way of pitting the masses against each other. The only exception I have is when it harms children.

@lesliejoy @BretWeinstein Yes I totally understand but what I don’t understand is why culture war bullshit is even a thing right now in 2026 when this admiration has caused a dumpster fire everywhere you look and you people are worried about pride? Who gives a f*ck c’mon man way higher priorities

No, it’s not “Pride Month.” Not for me, and not for millions of others. You’re welcome to be proud of whatever you want, in any month you like—because this is America. But what started in 1969 as a rebellion against persecution, morphed into a license for public depravity, and then morphed again into a weapon aimed at families and innocent children. Along the way it went from a day, to a week, and then a month and became official, and thereby effectively mandatory for all. Enough! If you’re gay and wondering why you are facing resistance now, the answer is that, with few exceptions, most of you didn’t stand up against the expansion and weaponization of “pride,” and the coercion that went with it. In that failure to resist, the gay community compromised any expectation that the rest of us should support “pride” at all, but especially the obscene display of hostility toward civilization and the families of which it is built, and for whom it exists. If your hackles are raised by the idea that civilization is about families, realize that families are how civilizations persist through time. Not everyone needs to form one, but we all must respect and protect them—It is the foundation of what it means to be civilized. For the small fraction of gays and lesbians who DID courageously stand up and resist expansion, coercion and the weaponization of “Pride,” I stand with you, and I have all along. But I won’t be celebrating, and I won’t be silent. It’s not too late to join the voices of reason and to confront the insanity of what “pride” has become.

The revelations six years later are pouring out so quickly that it is impossible to keep up much less mentally process all this: * The Director of National Intelligence has documented 120 US-funded/owned biolabs in 30 countries many of which are manufacturing and manipulating infectious diseases. * Senator Rand Paul's committee has released the receipts concerning US funding/backing of the manufactured SARS-CoV-2 virus/vaccine as part of this program. * Senator Johnson has produced definitive evidence that US public health agencies knew of the grave dangers of the shot to everyone but said nothing. * Many officials are privately admitting/proving that the whole point of lockdowns was to preserve population immunity for the shot and block other avenues toward wellness. * Hardly any of this makes the national news and one wonders if the public mind has any awareness at all.

B'Tselem בצלם بتسيلم@btselem

New footage obtained by B’Tselem uncovers the moments when the Abu Haikal family was shot. Seven-month-old Sam Abu Haikal was killed in the shooting, and both his parents were injured. The footage clearly shows that the Israeli soldier fired at the car as it was slowing to a stop. The car was far from the soldiers and posed no danger to them whatsoever. Moments later, in another video obtained by B’Tselem, seven-month-old Sam’s father, Fahed, is seen just after his son was shot. Fahed is holding baby Sam in his arms, trying to stop the bleeding from his head with his hands, while Sam’s mother, Daniyah, who was also injured by the gunfire while holding her son, is seen sitting on the ground, next to the car. Last Friday, 5 June, an Israeli soldier fired at a Palestinian family driving home from a family visit, as they sat in their car in the Tel Rumeidah neighborhood in Hebron. The family was shot as the car was slowing to a stop at the soldier’s command. Sam, a seven‑month‑old baby who was in his mother’s arms in the back seat, was struck in the head and pronounced dead shortly afterward. Sam’s parents were also injured by the gunfire; his mother is still in the hospital. After the shooting, the soldier who fired and another soldier who was with him left the scene without checking the car or offering any assistance to the critically wounded baby or to his mother. In the past two and a half years, Israel has killed tens of thousands of children in Gaza and the West Bank. The immunity it gets from the international community has led to a reality where, under Israeli rule, Palestinian lives are entirely disposable – even a seven‑month‑old baby.
