@TTCnotices your ossington bus sucks. Every week two or three of them don't come North even though Google maps counts down to one minute and then they just don't show up. And then by the time one does it's too full. You guys need to sort out your job

@Josh_R_Cook @SGratian50871 @acolner @CharlesSchwab You need to log in to Schwab and enable TOS. Old version won't wok.

English

If you want to automate your Iron Condor strategies get ThinkOrSwim and learn ThinkScript.
I know it's complicated but platform offers a lot of educational tool.

@iLoveiDevices @SGratian50871 @acolner @CharlesSchwab Just checked, not to Canadians FML. Active trader doesn't even show percentage gains or loss on a stock, totally useless
English

@SGratian50871 @iLoveiDevices @acolner @CharlesSchwab It's not letting me log into the desktop anymore. Is telling me I have an invalid username or password despite using the same one as before. Active trader became a thing
English

@iLoveiDevices @Josh_R_Cook @acolner @CharlesSchwab Yes, TOS is also available for Schwab accounts.
I have 2 family brokerage accounts at Schwab and 8 family brokerage accounts at TD Ameritrade.
English

@iLoveiDevices @SGratian50871 @acolner @CharlesSchwab Compared to TOS it's so bad, so much functionality lost and lots of lack of intuitiveness. Barely good, far from great. I'll forever miss TOS
English

@SGratian50871 @acolner @CharlesSchwab TD was acquired by Schwab. So TOS is now a Schwab product.
ActiveTrader from Fidelity is not my first choice but it’s good.

Coming from #thinkorswim, #tdactivetrader is garbage. Way less functionality compared to what I had with thinkorswim, my guess is they're going to gouge us with a "pro" version, or they just decided to leave out a lot of features that their older platform had.

@AndrewBerthoff hey Andrew, wondering if you teach bagpipes. I run a small music school and there has been interest from time to time but we don't have a dedicated teacher for bagpipes. Just wondering also if you are in the Toronto area?

@Ableton - cool upgrades, but would love to see more film scoring updates soon 🙏
After using Ableton for years, and not wanting to switch to a different DAW for film scoring, I hope that eventually updates will accommodate us wanting to stick with Ableton as our work expands
English

@andrew_j_mead I'm also super against this. Only benefits udemy, likely doing it for shareholders. Already looking into ways to use my Shopify store and a gated educational platform to do this on my own.
English

Thanks for building the courses that make our subscription worth it. In exchange, we're going to cut your revenue against growth. This will ensure you make the same amount of money while dealing with more students and support. ❤️ #udemy

English

@_DavidCodes I'm not a fan of this. They say it's because of AI initiatives but don't give us any details. Are they using AI to bring in more people to subsidize this difference? We're just left in the dark knowing that we're getting a smaller cut of the pie
English

Udemy is changing their subscription revenue share, this seems like a very rapid decline though all of a sudden, will the quality of #udemy and its efforts also increase rapidly? #buildinpublic

English

@BrooksConkle It's insulting. They don't allow us to bundle courses, when we opt into Udemy deals. It's impossible to sell your course on your own for any reasonable price because they're constantly discounting it to absurdly low rates, now they're kicking us while we're down. Switching soon.
English

#udemy is competing in a commoditized space and is suffering a lot.
These changes, which affects the instructors, has just been announced:

English

Terrible news coming from @udemy today. Taking nearly half of what instructors make over the next couple of years based on your projected growth is an assumption, but the only thing certain about this is you're taking more. Dressing it up as good news is insulting.
