Stop waiting until you have $50K to run the wheel. Buy a $5K LEAP. Sell monthly calls against it. Same strategy, 1/10th the capital. One trade turned $8K into $24K doing this while collecting a monthly paycheck. The poor man's covered call is the cheat code.

Can a clear bubble resolve without a big selloff? If a parabolic move that then consolidates for some extreme extended time frame (when companies grow into earnings for example) can that be called bubble? I don't think so.

Most traders use LEAPs wrong. Wrong IV. Wrong strike. Wrong duration. I managed $1B in options strategies professionally. Built a one-page framework covering entry, structure, and income layering. Free guide. Learn from a pro, not just someone who plays one on X.

@dampedspring More chatter since then. For example, CEOs of AMD and MICRON commenting that through 2030 they see 10x+ demand and continuing shortages for semiconductors. Who knows if they’re right or if there will be a supply response to moderate prices and margins.

Probably obvious to everyone but here it is. The big change in earnings expectations for semiconductors occured soon after Jensen Huang took the stage at $NVDA GTC developers conference and gave forward guidance. That was March 16-17th. Analyst estimates jumped sharply the next week. Both 2026 and 2027 SOX earnings growth expectations which were already expect robust growth jumped by 30%. Semiconductor stocks fell. Remember this is two years of earnings. Since then the earnings estimates have climbed a bit but Semi stocks have far exceeded that increase suggesting that not only will 2026 and 2027 be better than forecast but so will out years that are yet to be forecasted.

@AOC Airbnb wouldn’t exist for long if didn’t deliver to many millions of people a service they want at a price they are willing to pay. They aren’t “forcing” anyone to do anything.

Someone can certainly *make* a billion dollars. That’s not the same thing as earning. Growing fast and disrupting markets also often means chasing and wielding market power, political influence, and scale. Take Airbnb. They heavily lobby politicians against passing housing laws to protect working class residents because it’s bad for their business model. Airbnb could not exist at its current scale and size without the housing market destabilizations, displacements, and exploits that are supercharging the evictions of working people everywhere from Puerto Rico to Jackson Hole. Now young people are planning for a future where they will never be able to afford to own a home while others have 20 and live off renting it out to them at extortionate rates with zero protections. Yes, a tiny amount of people can make billions of dollars doing that. And millions of everyday Americans are bearing the cost.
Paul Graham@paulg

Sure you can earn a billion dollars. I've been teaching people how to do it for 20 years. The way you do it is to start a company that grows fast. You don't have to do anything bad to make a company grow fast. You just have to make something people want. paulgraham.com/ace.html

Timeless and universal really bullish equity drivers 1. Companies don't need any money from capital markets and in fact are aggressive buyers of their own debt and equity. 2. Budget deficits are expanding YoY at a pace in excess of Nominal GDP (Kalecki driver). 3. Central banks are cutting interest rates from restrictive to accommodative unnecessarily. 4. Central banks are growing their balance sheets by purchasing long term bonds, notes, and MBS. 5. Treasury is funding an increasingly large portion of its debt rollovers and new debt with bills. 6. Companies are delivering real technological innovations that will deliver rapid real productivity gains to the entire economy. 7. Earnings estimates are subdued 8. Earnings yields are very high. 9. The fiat currency is in the midst of a large devaluation. 10. Investors are under-allocated in the asset class and are over allocated to bonds and cash. 11. Leveraged investors are either not long on leverage or are short aggressively.

If you're an options trader - there's a cheat code you should learn that no one is talking about. It makes finding 100% trades way more consistent. I grew an account from $1k → $1,057,000 in 1 year using the exact same two concepts every single day. I made a FREE 5-page guide that will teach you this same exact strategy. Like + comment “Guide” and I will send you a DM. (Must be following to DM)

We on the comeback trail still. Sold 25k shares of $AMZN at $236 and added 25k deltas via short puts at $190. Soooo we are still making $25k for every dollar she ticks up. It’s just a different way to play the same game. I love having options in life and the stock market.

After 5+ years in trading, I stick to a simple strategy that's nets me thousands every month. Hundreds of our members have done exactly this. It might be the easiest trade you'll learn, suitable for most market conditions. Spend a few hours this weekend learning option selling. Not sure how? Comment “options” and I’ll send you a free ebook showing you how.

Was chatting with one of the smartest guys I know in public equities this week and talked about SaaS stocks, his answer still sticks with me. Me: You spending any time in SaaS land at all? Him: You're not talking to somebody who woke up a loser. SaaS is gonna play defense for the next decade, that's a loser position, I don't back losers, I don't short exponential rise of intelligence that will iron out all friction between atom and bits. He obviously watches the Jensen interview.

Pershing argues pure-play specialty insurers w/similar ROEs trade >2x book value (I mostly agree). Achieving target ROE resets multiple (from sub-1.4x to >2x), layered on top of mid/high-teens book value growth= multi-year 25% IRR.
