Let’s Try A Break

A worldwide experiment: Let’s all take a one month total break from religion. No Church. No Mosque. No Synagogue. Nothing religious for one month. Will our planet collapse, or will we survive? If we survive, then we’ve proven that religion is just wasting our precious time!

I find it so interesting that we never have God of nation “A” say that nation “B” is special. It is always that nation “A” is special. “You” are my only special nation. Isn’t it a bit suspicious? Possible that our imagination is self-serving?

People are seriously sleeping through their lives. Religion is such utter nonsense. Imagine if all the inhabitants of our planet would indulge themselves in research & science, how advanced civilization would be. Instead, religion propounds war and prayer that produce nothing.

@elonmusk @therabbithole I simply disagree, Elon. Theists so anger atheists with their lies, senselessness and destruction, that atheists just lose it and yell their pain out!

@therabbithole There seems to be an innate need for religion. Many atheists simply adopt another belief system (eg wokeness) that is essentially a religion.

I thought the point of Atheism was to escape the alleged intolerant nature of religion. Yet it seems that Atheists are the most censorious demographic when compared to their religious counterparts. How did Atheists get to this point?

The history of religions have one thing in common: abuse of entrusted power for private gain. Religions were built by force, killings & blood. The Hebrews conquered & massacred the Canaanites. Christians brutally killed throughout history. Muslims conquered by blood & force.

Being proud of the USA, is not about a country/nation—which only exist in fantasy. It is about our unbelievable accomplishments, and the visions of our forebears; leaving the olden worlds and ways, fighting hard for new ideals, new virtues & values. Our work is not to erode!

If God can do only good, can he/she be omnipotent? Omnipotent, by definition, means you can do anything, without restriction. Is God not restricted by being able to do only good? The concept of God in and of itself is paradoxical. No sense at all. Can’t be true. Let’sTryaBreak!

@elonmusk the real best way to save our planet is by first saving billions of hours of precious time being spent on frivolities, these hours should be spent with real and proven ways to save the planet and help humanity.

So much pain in the world, so much deep pain. How can people not notice that instead of wasting our time on religion, we can focus on how to really make this planet a better place?! Instead of praying, plant a tree, instead of studying the Bible, research a cure for cancer!

Think of all the variables and calculations in the life of even one person. Everyone makes ~35,000 decisions per day (!). Since we have free will, God needs to guess and calculate all outcomes. Multiply that by 8 billion people. Who created such a complex and advanced God?

I view god/religion as a highly improbable POSSIBILITY. Everything is possible, yet some things are just HIGHLY IMPROBABLE…

@letstryabreak I dont know which of us is the true believer of God since you impose so much parameter on God based on your expectation of who or what God is and what should he be like. another atheist wants God to appear to him personally immediately, sometime Atheist at best are truly Theists.

If God is all, has it all etc. then every kind of conceivable (or even non conceivable) universe must exist (if not, God does not have everything). Hard to believe that every conceivable (and non conceivable) universe indeed exists.

@CFCEmmaus No! If you tell me God is not missing anything, it would be impossible for Him/Her to miss something humans conceive. Since it would be impossible to deny that that is also something.

@letstryabreak Depends on who conceived what? He gets to decide if he conceives one or many. Man can only speculate.... and yet remain clueless.

@letstryabreak There’s so much misinformation, disinformation and destructive behavior on all sides. Didn’t mean to be too harsh, but the Capitol is a whole different category of disruption and waste.

In our long history our Capital was never attacked, Trump definitely put some oil onto the fire. However, the Capital is just a building (of Elites), it’s ‘peoples’ businesses that matter. And by the BLM riots, people lost billions while everyone watched and Democrats encouraged.
