NEW: @WhatsApp says Israeli mercenary spyware company #Paragon targeted scores of users around world.
The infection happened with no interaction. No link to click or attachment to open.
This is called a "zero-click" attack.
WA says targets included journalists & members of civil society.
They dismantled the attack vector & notified users.
Good.

I adore this idea of “night science” and treasure a sort of “night justice” in the (admittedly weird) litigation we do. The best ideas always come over late night drinks and dinners with the other lawyers, journalists, psychologists, artists and political thinkers in my life.
