Very disappointing April’s fool joke by @wicklowgaa at the expense of women’s football. The highlight of my playing career was the rare opportunity to play championship & county football at Aughrim. All these years later and women are - still - fighting for equal access.

@PlayerGaelic Match I was at today and ref brought it back three times to original foul despite there being another free further up field, on one occasion bringing back to 60’yeards out when the 2nd fouls was within 40 yards

Goalkeeper fouled 5m from goal and ref plays advantage. Ball worked out 30m and another foul is committed while advantage is still being played. From where should the free be taken?

@beardy5 @honigstein It has to be disallowed because Haaland stopped the player clearing the ball, he played advantage but that advantage was ended the minute the 2nd foul was committed.

@honigstein Of course it's an opinion. You want the laws applied to the detriment of any common sense. I want football to be enjoyable. I guarantee there's not a single person watching that live who wanted that goal to be disallowed and a red card given. Absolutely ridiculous decision.

It’s neither that deep nor difficult. 1. There‘s no „two fouls cancel each other out“ provision in the laws. There can’t be. 2. Haaland scored an illegal goal. 3. Since there was no goal, Szoboszlai‘s foul is DOGSO. Any other outcome would be absurd.

@MartinSLewis Since I get 300 miles for £4 the £9 mileage charge for that distance still means £26 for 600 miles which required £70 in diesel so it still pays to drive an EV especially once the fuel duty escalator starts again
