“SLURRY” - MY CONCERNS This is the name given to the new way of repairing pavements in Doncaster. Apparently this surface dressing will only last for up to 5 years at most before it needs to be done again. I have been shown instances of how this “slurry” is being put on our pavements. Where cars have been parked on a pavement or a domestic bin is there, the slurry goes around the obstruction. This leaves an untreated part which is odd to put it mildly. The workmen haven’t gone back to complete the job so constituents have rightly complained to me. Weeds are already growing through the slurry as you can see. These pictures are from Grampian Way in #Thorne. I will be raising this with the Chief Executive of @MyDoncaster Council as it seems to me that this new approach isn’t working. If you have any questions or concerns then let me know. Pictures are always helpful. I can only act for my constituents though so if you have a different MP then you will have to contact them direct.
