Watching Starmer in the House. It takes a strong stomach. The nonsense, the lies, the fudging of figures. What a disaster it was to give this fathead such a majority. Nodding dogs (one term Labour MPs) cheering him on. Absolute morons.

A reminder of what @Keir_Starmer said while families were grieving in Southport…
Martin in Monmouthshire@MartinMonmouth

@Keir_Starmer We will remember that you stood in Downing Street and tried to smear the public, lying about it being a far right plot and then prejudiced trials by saying anyone involved would be made to 'live to regret' being involved. Judges obliged.

I want to know exactly why Axel Rudakubana’s family came to the UK - on what visa, for what reason. From the BBC report today… 'There was stark criticism particularly for his father Alphonse Rudakubana, who Sir Adrian said had deliberately withheld information about his son amassing a stash of deadly weapons including the biological toxin ricin. Sir Adrian said if the parents had reported their true level of knowledge to the authorities before the attack, the killer would "undoubtedly have been taken into care or held in custody".' I have put official questions to the Home Office on the role his parents played, and why they were in our country to begin with. It is my view that the police should urgently investigate both the mother and the father of that monster, prosecuting/deporting where possible.

Sir Lindsay Hoyle billed taxpayers £40,000 for two foreign jaunts to Canada and South Africa last year. Canada trip to Ottawa: £25,000 (£22,795 on flights alone, £1,803 on meals and hotels, £327 transport). South Africa trip to Cape Town: £14,999 (£13,230 flights, £1,043 hotels, £169 meals). Part of £370,000 racked up on 30 overseas trips since becoming Commons Speaker. TaxPayers’ Alliance: “Taxpayers are sick of seeing their hard-earned cash treated as a travel fund.” Long-haul Hoyle strikes again. Are you happy with how he has used tax payers money to fund these trips or do you think he has a right to do so as Speaker of the house?

Horrendous. Poisoned meat has been found in Parks in London leaving animals and dogs dead and seriously ill. Who would do something so cruel?? The locations (so far) are Holland Park and Brompton Cemetery for anybody in London looking to walk their dogs near there. Dog walker local to the park said this: "In this case, it's poison meat," he said. "Before we've had toys that have been left around that have been poisoned. The worst one that really shocked me was razor blades being left in tennis balls." One woman walking her dog in Holland Park told BBC London: "I'm totally disgusted. I can't even imagine why anyone would do that." Another dog walker said: "It's absolutely horrendous. I'm not sure if someone's doing it for a spiteful reason. "It will stop people coming to the park with their dogs."

Two men who ran a huge people-smuggling operation from a car wash have been sentenced to 19 years each in prison. Dilshad Shamo, 41, and Ali Khdir, 40, organised the smuggling of about 100 migrants to Europe weekly for two years, labelled a "Tripadvisor for people smugglers" by the National Crime Agency.

I don't know what to despair about more, a woman being gang raped at a church or the police not revealing any description of the perpetrators, while appealing for information. Fucking sick of it.

Last night I walked into a quiet little village pub. Just low beams, old carpet and a bloke in the corner who’s probably been sat on the same stool since 1998. I ordered a pint, nine quid, got the missus a large wine. Fifteen quid for two drinks. I just stood there for a second like I’d accidentally ordered shares in the building. I remember being 20 and getting pints for £2.50. The economy is so cooked we’re paying luxury prices for nostalgia.
