It was frigid but fun to rally with @RidersAlliance and friends to demand expanded Fair Fares—with automatic enrollment!—and fast and free buses.
Standing on the steps of City Hall for an hour is nothing compared to waiting in the cold for slow and costly buses day after day 🥶

There were *years* of speculation that Jerry Nadler would retire mid-cycle and have his replacement be effectively hand-picked by county committee. But he didn't! And now we'll have a big messy #NY12 primary.

I agree. Rep Chuy Garcia’s decision to end his re-election at the last second and plant his chief of staff as the only candidate to succeed him was undemocratic and should not be allowed. Standing against corruption means standing up no matter which political party violates. The House should condemn and steps need to be taken to restore the people’s right to choose.
