I just learned the sad news that President Carter has died. I had the privilege and honor of meeting President and Mrs. Carter a bit over 7 years ago to the day. They were both gracious enough to sign the photo we had taken, so I have both the unsigned and signed version. President Carter is truly one of my favorites. When I met him, I told him I love him, and he invited me back to see him again. He will remain forever in my heart, and it's nice to know I have another guardian angel.

During the 48 months Biden was president, copper prices rose about 17%. So far, during the 16 months Trump has been president, copper prices are up about 70%. Trump didn't run promising to reduce inflation; he promised lower prices. Soaring consumer prices will sink Republicans.

According to Trump, “homes are for people, not corporations,” so he wants to permanently ban corporations that own 350 houses from buying more. Apart from the fact that corporations are owned by people, this misguided policy means that people who want to rent homes will pay more.

Trump plans to address high beef prices by suspending tariffs on imported beef. But according to Trump, tariffs don't raise prices for consumers, as foreign producers eat them by cutting prices. The only way suspending tariffs lowers prices is if imposing tariffs raised prices!

This is outrageous.. Not a single person on my flight is masked up while we’re in the middle of a double pandemic (Covid + Hantavirus). I politely informed the flight attendant that this is a super spreader event. She just shrugged and walked away. I've already filed a formal complaint with the FAA and CDC. This is reckless and cannot stand. Masks save lives, the science is settled on that.

ONLY CONGRESS CAN DECLARE WAR. Congress has NOT declared war with Iran. There is NO WAR with Iran. President Trump has kept his "no new wars" campaign promise. He has also kept his promise that Iran will never have a nuclear weapon.

Is it just me, or is X not working? I paid for a premium subscription April 27th, which my bank statement even shows. I am now unable to do things I could just do yesterday, such as edit a post, as it tells me I am not premium and need to upgrade to premium.
