You may ask: where are all the factories that supposedly moved back to the U.S.? Where are the jobs from those tariffs we paid for? And where’s the $18 trillion he keeps bragging about? Reality: production mostly shifted from China to other low-wage countries like Vietnam, Malaysia, and India, not back to American soil. A year after his so-called "Liberation Day" tariffs, U.S. manufacturing jobs are down, not up. Roughly 19,000 total jobs lost and tens of thousands of factory jobs gone. And that "$18 trillion pouring into America"? There’s no evidence for it. ZERO. He’s counting vague, unenforceable "commitments," not real, trackable investment. In other words, nonsense. The only thing consistently growing is his lies and his wealth.

"He's the equivalent of the status quo...it's always somebody else's fault!" @MattMahanSJ says it was "disillusioning" when he met with then then HHS Sec. @XavierBecerra to discuss homelessness in San Jose. He says Becerra was focused on "bureaucratic speak" that blamed others & wasn't interested in finding solutions. “With me as Mayor and as Governor starting next year, the buck will stop with me.” @MattMahanHQ via @CNNTheStoryIs

President Trump, his family, and this Administration are profiting from pay-to-play schemes, accepting gifts from foreign and domestic actors alike. That's why I joined @RepRaskin and @RepJoeMorelle in introducing the Protecting Our Democracy Act to stop this blatant corruption.

Donald Trump is about to turn Jan 6 criminals into MILLIONAIRES. With your tax dollars. The people who smeared feces on the Capitol walls… …hunted Mike Pence through the halls of Congress… …assaulted cops. He’s creating a $1.7 billion apology fund for them. Disgusting.

@MarioNawfal This dude is such a massive disappointment in his second term. I thought he was the president to stand up to China and its communist government. Where the hell did the Trump of his first term go? That guy was a winner.

🇺🇸🇹🇼Trump says Taiwan "stole our chip industry" and tells them to "cool it": "If we would have had one of our presidents put 100% tariff on chips, they would have never left. They stole our chip industry." He just reframed the world's most critical semiconductor supply chain as theft. Taiwan didn't build TSMC into the most important company on earth through decades of investment, engineering talent, and strategic vision. They "stole" it because American presidents "didn't know what the hell they were doing." Then the warning: "Taiwan would be very smart to cool it a little bit." Cool what? Being a democracy? Wanting to remain self-governing? In 48 hours Trump called Taiwan "a place nobody knows how to define," held their arms sales hostage as a "negotiating chip," said he's "not looking" to defend their independence, blamed them for stealing American industry, and told them to cool it. Taiwan just learned what it costs when America needs something from China...
Mario Nawfal@MarioNawfal

🇺🇸🇨🇳🇹🇼 Trump confirms he's holding billions in Taiwan weapons sales hostage as a "negotiating chip" with China: "I may do it, I may not do it. It's a very good negotiating chip for us, frankly." Asked if Taiwan should feel more or less secure after Beijing: "Neutral." He said he's "not looking to have somebody go independent because the United States is backing us." That sentence reframes Taiwan's self-governance as something the U.S. is causing rather than something 24 million people chose for themselves. Fox asked directly: "Xi probably liked that you haven't approved the weapons." Trump didn't deny it. He called it leverage. This is Taiwan's security being traded in real time for whatever Trump got in Beijing. China gets a delayed arms sale and a president who calls Taiwan "a place" that shouldn't "go independent." America gets Chinese oil purchases, investment commitments, and help pressuring Iran. The price of the Beijing summit is becoming clearer by the hour...

Trump as he presides over record farm bankruptcies: "The Democrats are against farmers. Add that to men in women's sports. The Democrats are against farmers. So, anyway. I came up with a new name -- dumocrats. Hakeem Jeffries is a very low IQ individual."

Joel Embiid reportedly hasn’t been seeing eye to eye with the Sixers front office and even had an issue with the Jared McCain trade, per @Tjonesonthenba “As the season progressed, it became clear the star center didn’t see eye-to-eye with the front office and the coaching staff. In the days before the February trade deadline, he implored the front office to do something other than what he termed ‘ducking the (luxury) tax.’ As such, he — along with others in the locker room — were not happy with the decision to trade second-year guard Jared McCain to the Oklahoma City Thunder, particularly without bringing in a player to replace McCain. In interviews over the next few games, Embiid noticeably had to hold himself back from verbally criticizing the front office.” (Via nytimes.com/athletic/72351…)
