Iran is not irrational. Iran watched Saddam get invaded. Watched Gaddafi give up nukes and get removed. Then watched North Korea become untouchable. So the solution to end this war is brutally simple Give Iran civilian nuclear plants… under 24/7 supervision. Any weaponization move = immediate bombs. Iran gets survival. Trump gets zero nukes + no new wars. You get $3 gas and stability. Everybody gets enough to End This War.

BREAKING: Trump to decide within the next 24 hours on major military action against Iran, with Israel receiving the final answer in the same window, per Channel 12. A senior Israeli official said the resumption of the war is "near" and Israel is preparing for "several days to several weeks" of fighting. The US and Israel are engaged in the largest joint military preparations since the April ceasefire, with 5,000 Marines and 2,000 paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne in the region awaiting orders for a ground operation against Iran's Isfahan nuclear site to seize enriched uranium, one of the options alongside intense bombing, per NYT.

Leopold Aschenbrenner's 13F never came on Friday. Here is the REAL reason why, and what it tells you: The most likely explanation is that he requested confidential treatment from the SEC. Confidential treatment is a legal tool that lets large funds delay disclosing positions they are still actively accumulating, sometimes for UP TO A YEAR. Funds use it for one reason: they are building a position big enough that public disclosure would MOVE THE PRICE AGAINST THEM before they are done. If that is what happened here, it means Aschenbrenner is quietly accumulating something significant and does not want the market to see it yet. The 24 year old who turned $225 million into $5.5 billion in 12 months going dark on the one day he was legally required to show his hand is not nothing. Pay attention to what happens when this position finally becomes public. We are checking every day, and when it comes, we’ll share it here publicly. Turn on notifications so you don’t miss the signal, this is VERY important. Many people will wish they followed us sooner.

@AuronMacintyre @_kruptos I once had a guy who owned multiple bars candidly tell me that he cares more about the music played at his bars than anything else. "You start playing music that attracts a certain crowd, and you might as well close down and start over."

Right out of college a nice progressive Jewish guy I knew got a job doing statistical analysis He was hired by a firm evaluating the mall in Tampa near USF where we graduated They wanted to understand why the mall was failing The analysts, in a moment of real moral crisis, told me “ I don’t know how to tell them the mall is attracting too many black people who are destroying it”

>Clarksville, Tennessee >Be Antwane Crenshaw >Shoot and kill a defenseless person riding a motorcycle in a targeted hit >First degree murder charge >Bond set at $250,000 >SAME COURT >Be Dalton Eatherly >Shoot someone in SELF DEFENSE >No one dies >Aggravated Assault,Attempted Murder charge >$1,250,000 bond This is the two tiered system of Justice white people live under. When blacks commit crime, it’s just another day. No big deal. Oh, but when a white person defends himself, oh THEN it’s time for all the judges and DA’s to put their Mr. Big Serious Person hats on and lay down the law. It’s a fucking joke. These people are creating a living hell for all of us to live in. It HAS TO end.

This user posted an actual Monet, said it was AI, asked people to explain what made it inferior. They obliged 😂 Tracks with research showing people systematically downgrade their aesthetic assessments of art when told it’s AI-generated. See — nature.com/articles/s4159…

i just generated an image in the style of a Monet painting using AI please describe, in as much detail as possible, what makes this inferior to a real Monet painting

There are at least like 6-7 high precision (“Big”) numeric libraries for Clifford algebras out there. And NONE of them are named RedDog. Is humanity worth saving?

never forget what the jacobins did to Louis XVII, he was just a child when they tortured him, he was only 10 when he died, and keep in mind this is just what wikipidia is willing to have up, imagine how much worse the full truth is.

@TheStalwart While the models are objectively useful, it takes time to learn how to use them effectively. Most of these folks (esp at Amzn) are already stretched; taking more time to invest in learning, during work hours where your responsibilities are only increasing, is a tough sell

Here's what's weird about this Amazon tokenmaxxing story to me. How is it that, online, there's so much consensus that the models are objectively useful for coding, and that 80% is a "target" for developer use. Why wouldn't they all be using it it makes their job easier?
