@Darrell72416952 @left_site I only travel once maybe every 3-5 years. Please take this up with the billionaires and high millionaires taking flights daily. The common person deserves some rights and protections when abroad. What Sunwing did to us was abhorrent.

Canadians are patient when it comes to weather disruptions but they rightly expect their airlines to keep them informed and to manage these disruptions smoothly. I am very concerned with the current situation with Sunwing Airlines.

@left_site We strongly believe they are going under. This is what travel agents told our group. But they are shifting the blame for all of us chaos onto weather.

Sunwing never got our family home. Our travel agent told us “Sunwing is not coming to help. They will never get you a flight. Get out asap on another flight.” So we did. Spent 4k out of pocket and got on an @airtransat flight.

Sunwing Flight WG516 originally scheduled for the 21st, rescheduled for tonight at 7 and then 9…cancelled again. Supposed to take off tomorrow instead.

@vicajwani Hi Vic. Last update I received was that they are trying to get passengers on a flight late this evening. If Nexus is trying to bring you to the airport, I would recommend you try to make the transfer. Safe travels. -SK

@SunwingVacay need to get confirmation on flight WG516 Cancun/YYZ . It was delayed till 11:45pm on the 25th then 12:40am on the 26th. Then I got an email saying it has been delayed till Dec 29th @ 4:40pm. Airport transfer wants us to get to the airport now! Who should I trust!!!
