@Christine1O ive read a few of his books for myself n i would tend to agree with alot of his evaluations but really its upto the individual to decide i guess on whether they agree with Charles Vallancey or not,i dont get put off by negative opinions,i just have a read n then decide 🙂

@Liam848141 @Nnefariousjack its like the way all irish history is 'myth' before 400ad n after that its history even though some figures were alive during both times 'semi-legendary' n places named after them for milennia lol wonder who came this way in that time eh n brought a certain religion with him 😄

@Nnefariousjack @lindymasterson I don’t know why we ever believed in what the Romans said as being historical fact when they are the ones responsible for killing Jesus 😂 Then they conquered Britain and Britain invaded Ireland.. and suddenly the Irish are “Roman Catholics”

I haven’t a clue about any of this. I just wanted to see what secrets they might be hiding. Didn’t expect it to be about languages. I’m just sticking everything into ChatGPT as it’s way above my head. I’m taking from this, that the monks were trying to preserve how to chant the bible using an original language, along with pronunciations and lilts.
