This post doesn’t even make sense unless there is an accurate definition of women that doesn’t include men. The first principle in celebrating women’s achievements is recognizing what a woman is: an adult human female.

As the #WomanLifeFreedom uprising was under way in 2022 and thousands were in prison with fears growing of executions @Shayan86 - QTed here - tweeted: “The widely shared claim that the Iranian regime has committed to executing 15,000 detained protesters is not true. Please stop sharing it… There's no need to make up stories.” Literally thousands of executions later, the tweet has not aged well. During #IranMassacre it took weeks for the BBC to acknowledge anything, even with many urgent reports. Now with an internet blackout in Iran last 6 days they seem able to “verify” very quickly. The big red flag 🚩 here is if it was Israel or the US that bombed the girls’ school, the regime would have had no qualms about showing the dead bodies. Their report also does not mention why a girls’ school would be inside IRGC grounds. Nothing but regime numbers quoted so this piece serves no purpose other than propaganda for the Islamic Republic. A regime trying to garner sympathy in a war they brought on the themselves (was either intervention or the regime continue the massacres) as they teeter on the brink of extinction. This is a terrible look for the BBC and utterly disgraceful for the UK. Evidence of missile remnants to identify the attacker would solve the question immediately. But no one is allowed near the bomb site. And the internet remains cut. If those two facts don’t tell you something, nothing will. #IranMassacre #IranIsraelUSAWar
