Mistakes happen. As a team, the important thing is to recognize it’s never an individuals’s fault — it’s the process, the culture, or the infra. In this case, there was a manual deploy step that should have been better automated. Our team has made a few improvements to the automation for next time, a couple more on the way.

I am posting from inside Iran, bypassing several layers of blockage to post this. The Iranian people want this regime gone and are willing to pay the price, because the price of the regime staying in power is higher. That is all. That's the tweet.

Lebanon Cannot Afford to Miss the Middle East’s Great Realignment. The Middle East is being redrawn in real time. From Gaza to the Red Sea, from Tehran to Damascus, the old order is fracturing. Alliances once considered untouchable are being recalculated. Power is consolidating around clarity rather than ambiguity. Governments are choosing sides. Markets are adjusting. Security architectures are shifting with unmistakable speed. Lebanon, however, remains suspended in denial. The presidency and government continue to invoke the language of sovereignty while tolerating an armed faction, Kizballah (Hizballah), that has methodically eroded that sovereignty for decades. The contradiction is no longer subtle. It is structural. Officials condemn state collapse while preserving the very architecture that engineered it. They preach reform while accommodating a militia whose strategic allegiance lies beyond Lebanon’s borders. Prime Minister Nawaf Salam’s recent declaration banning Kizballah (Hizballah)’s military and security activities as illegal and demanding the handover of its weapons was, on its face, a long overdue assertion of state authority. Yet the declaration collapses under scrutiny. Kizballah (Hizballah)’s ministers remain in the cabinet. Its members of parliament continue to sit in the legislature. Its political leverage within state institutions remains intact. A militia cannot be dismantled by decree while simultaneously empowered from within. This dissonance suggests that the move was less a decisive break and more reactive theater, calibrated to ease mounting external pressure from Washington and Jerusalem after renewed cross border escalation. It does not reflect a fundamental shift in Beirut’s posture. It reflects hesitation dressed as reform. The emerging regional map leaves little room for such equivocation. The Abraham Accords were not symbolic diplomacy. They marked a structural realignment. Countries that moved early secured investment flows, advanced security partnerships and strategic leverage in Washington. Those that hesitated now find themselves negotiating from the margins. For Lebanon, peace with Israel is no longer an abstract ideological debate. It is an economic and strategic necessity. Normalization would unlock energy cooperation in the Eastern Mediterranean, provide maritime stability, attract reconstruction capital and reopen pathways to international financial integration. Most critically, it would reinforce a principle Lebanon has long failed to enforce: the state must hold a monopoly over arms. History offers a sobering lesson. Lebanon has repeatedly missed moments of transformation because its political class mistook delay for strategy. Today, the window is open. Washington is more receptive to Lebanese realignment than it has been in years. President Donald Trump has consistently championed expanded regional normalization and has taken an unambiguous stance against Iran’s destabilizing footprint. For Beirut, this alignment presents a rare opportunity to reposition the country as a sovereign actor rather than a proxy arena. But opportunity demands courage. Coexistence with an armed proxy does not produce stability. It produces paralysis. It deters investment. It isolates Lebanon diplomatically. It locks the country into perpetual crisis management. The Middle East is transforming regardless of Lebanon’s readiness. The strategic landscape will not wait for Beirut’s internal comfort. The question now is whether Lebanon’s leadership will continue to hedge, or whether it will finally choose clarity over ambiguity and redraw the country’s future before the map is finalized without it.
