@kalshi why hasn’t this market settled? If you want to keep prices accurate and have max liquidity you need to settle markets in a timely manner. It’s been over 17 hours since this market could have settled.

@realTomBayes @LeoMargolis_ Polymarket always had fees albeit much lower than kalshi, but to the accuracy defense kalshi has much lower fees for makers than takers

@AllenKessler @WSOP @HorseshoeVegas Just landed in Vegas. Flew here and made a trip just for what I thought was the usual triple triple. It wasn't anywhere in the rules or app. Not cool. Also no PDF structure sheets for definitive source. This tournament should be run as standard triple triple.

@ToddWitteles @JoshuaArieh You’re comparing apples to oranges. LA is one of the wealthiest metros in the world of course they are going to have better healthcare than Vegas. For certain medical things I have travelled to LA.

@lipiner @JoshuaArieh My experiences with it were awful, and a lot was systemic, not just bad luck or me being a difficult patient. Everyone I talk to (except you maybe) seems to have issues with it. LA is way better, despite being flawed too.

Anyone in Vegas have a dentist they love? Reviews online look bad and I’m 0-2 with the places I’ve went

Nevada casinos don’t play. “Prediction markets” are gambling, plain and simple. You don’t get to sidestep regulation, accountability and taxes with clever branding or terminology.

It is a disgrace. NV politicians are “protecting” us by banning @Kalshi while ignoring the fact that indoor smoking is literally killing people on casino floors every day. Why is a regulated market a threat, but toxic secondhand smoke is fine? I support the expansion of poker in every way. But Texas was always living on borrowed time. @DougPolkVids probably helped bring about his own demise with the flaunting of alcohol filled nosebleed cash games on YouTube and partnering with the WPT. He made the Lodge a target.
