Last year, the first frontier AI laws in the U.S. were passed in California and New York. This year, the work begins to implement those laws well. There is a pressing need to recruit smart, motivated, and qualified individuals for the offices responsible for this critical task. Contributing to the implementation of SB-53 and RAISE might be one of the most impactful things someone could do to help AI go well this year. Okay so, we just found that over 50 papers published at @Neurips 2025 have AI hallucinations I don't think people realize how bad the slop is right now It's not just that researchers from @GoogleDeepMind, @Meta, @MIT, @Cambridge_Uni are using AI - they allowed LLMs to generate hallucinations in their papers and didn't notice at all. It's insane that these made it through peer review👇
