the Ms Rachel nugget is like the first nugget to go on sale and it’s because people who buy $300 play cushions don’t want them to be character printed. Rare miss from both companies imo

@iky_fwjett I used to have 'operation cleanup' with my kids on Saturday mornings and in a few hours the house would be clean, beds made, laundry done. Then we'd have what i called a mini vaca. We'd go to the park or library or have a picnic. Best days of my life.

I’m looking for a year 8 novel for next year which is not hideously depressing. Currently Boy in the Striped Pyjamas on the curriculum and I cannot face another year of it! Everything I have googled sounds dystopian and grim. I would like something inspiring and fun.

@AssocAnderson Angry your vote to disenfranchise others was taken away…

Many of you on the left are commenting that the decision was 4-3, as if the math somehow changes what actually happened. Four Justices on the Virginia Supreme Court canceled the votes of every person who voted “yes.” All the money. All the effort. Cancelled. I know it is easy to blame the Court for what happened today. But here is the absolute truth: The Virginia Democrats broke the law. They did it openly, blatantly, and with complete disregard for the consequences. They believed they were untouchable because they controlled the executive branch and the legislative branch. The acted like mob bosses with no accountability. But in a government with checks and balances - the Courts always have the final say. Your vote was not canceled because four justices woke up and decided to invalidate an election. Your vote was canceled because Virginia Democrats put the Court in a position where the law required intervention. You should absolutely be angry that your vote was taken away. But be angry at the people who ignored the law and caused this mess in the first place. If Democrats had simply followed the Constitution and done it correctly, none of this would have happened.

Here's how Muslim-majority countries treat their Christian populations: 🇸🇴 SOMALIA No churches exist. Converts from Islam face death. Al-Shabaab is committed to eradicating Christianity entirely. 🇾🇪 YEMEN Christians can be imprisoned, tortured, or killed. Possessing a Bible in Houthi-controlled areas is dangerous. No legal protection for Christians exists. 🇸🇩 SUDAN Over 100 churches have been damaged or destroyed. Christians have been abducted and killed. Islamist extremists operate with impunity. 🇸🇾 SYRIA Now largely controlled by HTS — an Islamic extremist group with roots in Al-Qaeda. Christian population has collapsed from 1.5 million to 300,000. 🇳🇬 NIGERIA More Christians are killed for their faith in Nigeria than anywhere else in the world. Boko Haram, ISWAP, and Fulani militias operate freely. The government has largely failed to prosecute perpetrators. 🇵🇰 PAKISTAN 🔸 Christians are 1.8% of the population but absorb ~25% of blasphemy accusations — which carry a death sentence. 🔸 Mob lynchings of accused Christians are common. Entire Christian neighborhoods have been torched. 🔸 Christian girls are kidnapped, forcibly converted, and married off. Courts often back the perpetrators. 🇱🇾 LIBYA No functioning government to protect Christians. Foreign Christians are kidnapped and killed by Islamist groups. No legal protections exist. 🇮🇷 IRAN 🔸 96 Christians sentenced to 263 years in prison in 2024 alone — a sixfold increase year-over-year. 🔸 House churches are raided. Converts are charged with espionage and "enmity against God." 🔸 Apostasy is punishable by death. Government's stated goal: eradicate the Persian-speaking Church. 🇦🇫 AFGHANISTAN Christians face death if discovered. No public Christian communities exist. The Taliban is actively working to erase any Christian presence. 🇸🇦 SAUDI ARABIA 🔸 No churches allowed. No public Christian worship of any kind. 🔸 Apostasy and proselytizing are capital offenses under Sharia law. 🔸 Bibles are confiscated. Even private worship by expatriates can result in arrest and deportation. 🇲🇱 MALI / 🇧🇫 BURKINA FASO Pastors executed, churches burned, villages massacred. Governments have lost control of large swaths of territory to jihadist groups including Boko Haram and JNIM. 🇮🇶 IRAQ The Christian population has collapsed from 1.2 million in 2011 to just 120,000 in 2024 — driven by ISIS genocide. Christians are described as "close to extinction." 🇩🇿 ALGERIA All 47 Protestant evangelical churches in the country have been shut down. Converting Muslims is a criminal offense. 🇲🇷 MAURITANIA Apostasy is punishable by death. No churches exist for Mauritanian citizens. 🇲🇦 MOROCCO No public Christian worship permitted. Converting from Islam can result in prosecution. Foreign missionaries are expelled. 🇶🇦 QATAR 🔸 Apostasy: death penalty under Sharia law. 🔸 Proselytizing a Muslim: up to 5 years in prison. 🔸 Bringing Christian materials into the country: up to 2 years in prison. 🇹🇷 TURKEY 🔸 200+ Christian workers expelled since 2020, labeled "national security threats." 🔸 No legal training of clergy permitted. The historic Halki Seminary remains closed. 🔸 Christian population has collapsed from 20% to 0.2% over the past century.
TCN@TCNetwork

The people in charge don't want you to know this, but Muslims love Jesus. Islam reveres Him as a major prophet and messenger of the Lord, believes He performed miracles, and states that He will return to Earth to defeat the Antichrist. That's why Donald Trump's painting depicting himself as the Son of God offended the president of Iran. It was an attack on his religion as well as Christianity. Today's Morning Note newsletter covers Masoud Pezeshkian's condemnation of Trump's “desecration of Jesus,” the Iran War's gutting effects on America's housing market, Colombia's plan to murder Pablo Escobar's hippopotami, and more. @realQuendrith @OfficialCSAF The answer to this math question is that American lives don’t have a cost. That’s the difference between the USA and the country asking its people to form human chains around power plants and recruiting 12 year olds while bombing civilian targets in neighbouring nations

@OfficialCSAF hello, just a math question here, and certainly kudos to the rescue and coordination, HUA! The math question? Per airmen for extraction, what would be the total cost of all airmen extracted if these costs were scaled up? (yes, this is a trick question... actually an observation)

We will never leave an Airman behind; it’s our creed and our warrior ethos. The combat search and rescue mission to bring our pilot and weapon systems officer home was one of the most impressive operations I’ve seen in 40 years of service. The survival skills our Airmen displayed to evade enemy capture, the teamwork between our special operations forces and recovery crew to lay down key strikes and extract deep behind enemy lines speaks to the strength of our warfighters. We displayed air supremacy, showing the overwhelming capability of the U.S. military. The enemy doesn’t stand a chance. I couldn’t be more proud of our Air Force, Joint Force and all those involved.

This is the right move because she was openly promoting IRGC to designated terrorist organization on her social media. I want to directly address Secretary Marco Rubio and the U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security: Do not put Iranian students and professionals at risk. Because Many Iranians in the United States are not part of this regime, they have fled it. They came legally, respect the law, and contribute to this country. Do not treat them as the threat they escaped.
Masih Alinejad 🏳️@AlinejadMasih

The U.S. State Department announced the detention of Qasem Soleimani’s relative and her daughter. According to this report, Hamidah Soleimani Afshar and her daughter are currently in U.S. immigration custody. Until recently, they were living in the United States on green cards, enjoying the safety and freedoms denied to millions of Iranians. On social media as you see, she openly promoted the ideology of the IRGC, a designated terrorist organization and praised violence while calling America the “Great Satan.” The message is clear: The United States must not become a safe haven for those who support a regime that represses its own people while spreading hatred against this country. But one red line must remain clear. I want to directly address Secretary Marco Rubio and the U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security: Do not put Iranian students and professionals at risk. Many Iranians in the United States are not part of this regime, they have fled it. They came legally, respect the law, and contribute to this country. Do not treat them as the threat they escaped. Make a clear distinction: Protect the victims. Hold the regime’s enablers accountable. Watch my investigative reports on the luxury lives of relatives of Islamic Republic officials in America 👇 👇👇

Until recently, Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and her daughter were green card holders living lavishly in the United States. Afshar is the niece of deceased Iranian Major General Qasem Soleimani. She is also an outspoken supporter of the Iranian regime who celebrated attacks on Americans and referred to our country as the "Great Satan." This week, I terminated both Afshar and her daughter's legal status and they are now in ICE custody, pending removal from the United States. The Trump Administration will not allow our country to become a home for foreign nationals who support anti-American terrorist regimes.
