@TELUSsupport hey are you guys really sending unbranded employees door to door to sell security systems? They didn’t seem professional at all.

@LG_triathlete Start backing IN to your driveway. That’s what I do because my husband has one of those stupid big trucks. 🛻

Stoked that my brand new next door neighbor parks both of their massive trucks on their driveway constantly so I can’t see f-all when backing out of my driveway.

So.. we tried to sign our son up for swimming lessons this am, registration opened at 7am & sold out by 7:02. If he ends up swimming with my technique, it’s not my fault 😉

Play the long game: Don't worry about being great. Worry about being great at being consistent. Small steps taken regularly over time lead to big gains. It really is amazing how much people overestimate what they can do in a year and underestimate what they can do in a decade.

I’m often told “I’m lucky I have boys,” but try explaining to your young sons why women aren’t treated equally. They can’t understand it and they want to help change it. I hope they do for their cousins and their own daughters.

@bbculp @Peacedout @MamaSimmons It’s a Canadian thing. We all play nice and circle swim with up to 6 people in the lane. 😱 Or I get in, do 100m fly and hope someone gets intimidated and leaves.

A lot of social norms have eroded over the past two years, but nothing more so than pool etiquette. Allow me to clarify two things for the entire world: 1. Asking one person to split a lane is ALWAYS ok 2. Asking two people splitting a lane to join and circle-swim is NEVER ok

As a runner/triathlete and parent of two almost 6 year olds, I find this wrong on so many levels. The parents’ explanation: “but he wanted to do it”. Yeah and my kids want to eat candy for breakfast but it doesn’t mean that you let them runningmagazine.ca/the-scene/six-…
