Remember when the pope spoke out & saved Iranian women from being executed for protesting? Neither do I. Our President did though🙏🇺🇸

Nakba day commemorates the time Muslims attempted to genocide the Jewish people immediately after the Holocaust, failed, and have been crying victim ever since. How'd I do?

No the Dorena left Kharg Island on March 23rd did not "offload" Iranian oil in India. Dorena was seized by the US fully laden on April 17th (21m draft). This is why you guys still have not found a SINGLE Iranian ship that has bypassed the blockade. They don't exist.
someone@Oliver9LH

@TonerousHyus @whsieh We know the Dorena dropped off a full load of oil in India on Sunday. Where did that oil come from? When did its transponder last record its position?

The WIAA voted against banning biological males from competing in girls' sports. Their justification? There aren't many biological males competing in girls' sports, so it isn't that big of an issue. On behalf of the 110,000 girls who play sports in Washington State, we can confirm, one boy taking a girls' place is "that big of an issue." komonews.com/news/local/was…

As I predicted, even when my first book Poisoned Ivies shattered records and sold the most hardcover books, the inaccurate NYT “Best Sellers” would never acknowledge the fact that it was the #1 best-selling non-fiction book in America. And the data is in! Poisoned Ivies sold the most copies of any non-fiction hardcover book in America (above #1 and nearly double #2). But they ranked Poisoned Ivies at #3 knowing that there were purchases from various Jewish groups of readers. Because of the topic and viewpoint of the book, the NYT refuses to acknowledge the crisis of antisemitism and the fact that their paper has helped fuel this moral rot. This is the same paper with a long heinous history of antisemitism that just this week wrote glowingly about the pro-terrorist Hasan Piker with NYT writers encouraging and justifying assassinations and murders. Poisoned Ivies is the #1 Best Selling non-fiction book in America. Thank you to the readers across the country! 🚀🚀📈📈

The most likely outcome is that the Supreme Court of Virginia strikes the Virginia Gerrymandering referendum down. Not because of politics, and not because of the vote itself, but because Virginia’s high court has a long history of treating constitutional process as binding, not advisory.

The SPLC placed all these mainstream conservatives on their "hate map" and "extremist list." Right alongside the the neo-Nazis and Ku Klux Klan members they were secretly funding.

@joekent16jan19 So - your plan is to give up a war that we are winning, withdraw ships that aren't seriously threatened by the Iranians, leave Iran in control of the Straits of Hormuz, blow up our relationships with our Gulf Allies, to accomplish what, exactly?

Let me further explain. Virginia has a procedure set forth in its statutes for this kind of effort. The advocates for the proposition violated the procedure. The court allowed the vote because if the "No" side prevailed, the issue would be moot. The defect in the procedure was there all along, and didn't go away because of the outcome of the vote.
Brian Allen@allenanalysis

Let me explain what just happened in Virginia. Yesterday, 2.5 million Virginians voted. They passed a redistricting amendment 50.7% to 49.3%. Today, one judge threw out every single vote. 🧵

Woke isn’t dead. It has moved into the lawfare phase. The left understands that judges and policymakers rely on academic journals to determine what counts as expert consensus, so it is flooding those journals with ideological nonsense and sex pseudoscience. That fake consensus is then used to reshape law and policy. While many assume the tide has turned, the activist project is quietly pre-soaking the battlefield in petrol in preparation for future legal battles. We need more than well-argued op-eds and viral social media posts. We need direct engagement with pseudoscience in the journals themselves. Oh bollocks. We didn't try to publish them. We did publish them. But we shouldn't have been able to. Most didn't have any data but the ones which did had data which were obviously impossible or implausible or we drew unwarranted conclusions from them. That's significant. 1/2

@emptywheel I really wish James Lindsay, Helen Pluckrose, and Peter Boghossia would have faced charges for fraudulently trying to publish fake research studies In that case hundreds, if not thousands, of hours were wasted on fraudulent data by academic institutions

It is fraudulent to get published based on plausible fake data & then keep quiet about it, not to publish clearly broken papers & then tell people about it in order urge them to fix knowledge production systems which incentivised & enabled that corruption of scholarship. 2/2

When the world shut down over a 99.9999% survivable virus, I had to tell a few dozen rig hands they were out of a job. Then I had to tell even more frac hands. Then snubbing hands. Then I went home to wait for my layoff. Then I spent 6 months applying for jobs with no interviews because corporate America had banned White men in honor of Saint George Floyd, Patron Saint of Fentanyl. A great Twitter friend who I am indebted to forever got me a job with a 25% pay cut, and I had to work physically harder than I had in a decade. Anyway. Nobody in news media ever reached out for my story. And it wasn’t a unique story, I was one of a couple hundred thousand guys going through this.

On the first day of the Battle of the Somme, 800 (overwhelmingly “white heterosexual”) men of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment went over the top. 68 answered roll call the next morning. Now their male descendants can’t work at NL’s only university which was named in their honour.

...We will now to see whether UCLA Law School and Dean Michael Waterstone are willing to discipline the students who disrupted this event. This type of premeditated, overt misconduct often reflects an enabling culture fostered by the faculty.
