The world is about to get a master class in antisemitism.
Israel's minister Ben Gvir's behavior towards the flotilla activists was unacceptable. I said so myself.
World leaders all posted angry denunciations of the Israeli government and summoned Israeli ambassadors for a dressing down.
Here, the same activists are receiving much more brutal treatment at the hands of the Spanish government. What we won't see however is an international outcry against the Spanish government.
This imbalance isn't due to the vagaries of international diplomacy. People hold the Jewish state to a higher standard than they do any other state, and fundamentally it's due of bigotry and hatred.

NEW: Florida teacher fired after hanging a black doll with a cord wrapped around the doll’s neck in class.
The incident happened at Barrington Middle School in Hillsborough County.
One of the students says after class the teacher, Karen Savage, started following him when he went to report what happened.
“After I saw what was happening, I just, like, decided that, like, I wanted to get proof that it actually happened,” middle school student Noah Carter said.
“She followed me after class was over, and that’s when she started talking over me and not letting me speak when I was trying to report what she did.”

This is very true, many Japanese who lives in China feels liberated from the constant need to "read the air", a Japanese social cue for everyone to be under constant high-pressure and be mindful of what others may think of them for every action they do.
It is true that this creates extreme order in Japan, but it comes with constant peer pressure, total conformity and utter obedience.
Hence why for many foreigners, Japan is a pretty nice place to visit for a week, but very miserable for most to live in.
Left wing Japanese artists and intellectuals tried to break this oppressive social hierarchy in the 1950s and 60s, but failed. The constant nagging of small things foreigners do in Japan, the endless rightwing slops being generated in Japanese entertainment industry is the result of that failure.
This is why the idea of a resurgent Japan without Left wing forces is a moot point, since the established forces within Japan, are the very thing that's keeping them down.
There is an analogy I like:
🔹To control the Japanese is like herding sheep. (very easy and you can do anything to them)
🔹To control the Chinese is like herding horses (you can do it, but you better adhere to the mandate of heaven otherwise the people will trample you)
🔹To control the Americans is like herding cats. (Impossible to do)

South Africa won’t allow Starlink to be licensed, even though I was BORN THERE, simply because I am not Black!
We were offered many times the opportunity to bribe our way to a license by pretending that a Black guy runs Starlink SA, but I have refused to do so on principle.
Racism should not be rewarded no matter to which race it is applied.
Shame on the racist politicians in South Africa. They should be shown no respect whatsoever anywhere in the world and shunned for being unashamedly RACISTS!

Why Elon Musk is RIGHT to fight South Africa’s racist rules blocking Starlink? Imagine this: Long ago, South Africa had very unfair laws called apartheid. They treated Black people badly and kept them from good jobs and money. When those bad laws ended, the country made new rules (called B-BBEE) to help Black people get a fair share of business. The idea was good – like a big helping hand. But now? For companies like Starlink to sell fast internet, they MUST give away 30% of their business to Black partners. Just because of skin color. Elon Musk was born in South Africa. He left as a teen to chase big dreams. Today, his company SpaceX wants to bring Starlink – super fast satellite internet – to South Africa. But the rules say no unless they give up part of the company. Elon said it right: “Starlink is not allowed because I’m not Black.” SpaceX promised to spend about $30 million (that’s 500 million rand!) to give FREE high-speed internet to 5,000 rural schools. That helps over 2.4 MILLION kids every year learn better, get jobs later, and have a brighter future. Real help for the people who need it most! Starlink already works in about 24 other African countries. Villages there now have internet for school, doctors, and business. South Africa’s villages are missing out because of these racist rules. Elon isn’t asking for special favors. He just wants fair play so Starlink can connect everyone fast. Internet = education, jobs, hope. Why hold back millions of kids over rules that pick by race and color?

Social Media 101:
DO NOT try to unseat the dominant platform in a certain niche, always create a new way to retain engagement and monthly user.
The internet industry is always winner takes all, you cannot stop the existing momentum of a market leader, so instead of copying TikTok and YouTube, X should be look at new ways to improve its strengths.
People in charge of the recent changes on X doesn't know that basic fact, or they know but is actively sabotaging the platform.
