There are a lot of feckless candidates in the GOP nomination fight, but Hurd has been at odds with Trump for a long time.

The insistence that “whoah, whoah this isn’t sanctions relief” just feeds the right’s argument that sanctions relief is somehow bad. When sanctioned governments stop doing the thing we want them to stop doing, they get sanctions relief. That’s how this is supposed to work!
