I love getting kicked off my @AlaskaAir flight with my service dog because the person seated next to us doesn’t want to sit next to a dog. They said we smell bad, but we just left the most prestigious dog show in NYC, I can guarantee my dog doesn’t smell.

At Monroe Township Library, this ladies husband tried to vote and someone already did
He had to fill out a provisional ballot that won't be counted until Nov 8th

@wakeupnj My husband and I went for early voting and a man had already voted with my husband‘s name five minutes before.😡My husband had to do a provisional and they’re telling us they’ll look at the signatures and compare them- this happened because no one asks for ID.

As Gavin Newsom takes a taxpayer funded vacation at Climate Week in New York City, the environmental catastrophe that is the Ivanpah Solar Power Facility in California is shutting down.
The 2 BILLION dollar blight built on 3,500 pristine acres of Mojave desert has been responsible for incinerating more than 60,000 birds, created TWICE the pollution of a typical power plant, created 86 jobs instead of the promised 2000, and will abandon 173,500 thermal collectors in the environment they were trying to save.

In response to business owners expressing concerns that increasing the minimum wage to $25/HR will force them to automate certain positions, a SD City Councilmember responded, “do not dare…I will have a policy for that too.”
The city then voted to exempt themselves from the $25/HR minimum wage.

This weekend was magical. On Saturday, and carrying through yesterday we celebrated forever homes for over 80 of the animals in our care.
But, today, our focus returns to those who still wait. To those who weren't chosen.
Our hearts break for them, waking up again in a shelter. We love them until their families come, but sometimes it feels like they will never come.
Lemon in particular has had a rough road. He was rescued from the streets of Philadelphia with a horrific injury, leaving him a tripod. He overcame that injury and found a home.
Sadly, he ended up back in the shelter where he again waits.
He deserves the world. Please consider coming to meet him or any of the pups who weren't chosen. You can change their lives, and we know for sure they'll change yours.

Starting in October, SDG&E will hit every customer with a new $24 monthly “Base Services Charge” — that’s an extra $288 a year, no matter how much or how little power you use.
This so-called “reshuffling” is nothing more than a utility tax. It punishes seniors on fixed incomes, working families, and even those who invested in solar to cut costs — all while SDG&E made nearly $900 million in profits last year.
Californians already pay the second-highest energy rates in the nation. Enough is enough.

He arrived in Devore CA with a deep laceration to his belly and painful swelling, Bobby #A822300 was lucky to be transferred outside for medical care. But instead of having the chance of recovering in a place of safety, he was sent back. Just 2 years old, stressed and likely still in pain, he's now marked 'Rescue Only' for snapping and barking at another dog. This incident will likely fast track him to the front of the TBK line and he desperately needs out. Please help us help Ranger! He's a 9 year old senior currently being fostered in Oregon. A low-energy sweetheart who’s crate trained, potty trained, neutered, and fully vaccinated, Ranger may have a touch of arthritis, but otherwise appears to be in good health. He gets along great with other dogs, but is reactive to the cats in his current foster home, so we’re looking for a more suitable placement - ideally a cat-free home where he can truly relax. Saved from death row, he's in desperate need of some stability in his final years.
