This is how Matvei Michkov actually thinks. And no, this isn't specifically praise. I've heard a few stories about where this fire has gotten him into trouble. It's not all sunshine and roses. But the narrative that he just decided to take a summer off was always clownish.

Sometimes I think about how good Bryan Berard might have become if not for his horrific injury, and how far the Leafs might have gone if he'd been in their lineup. All the credit in the world to Berard for resuming his career with 20/600 vision. He had to use a contact lens to meet the league minimum 20/400. For context, that means he had to be 20 feet away to see what a person with normal 20/20 vision can see from 400 feet away. He put up points everywhere he played.

@DanHoltzman Honestly, I think Vladar is at the very least as good as Hart, and they're of similar ages. So personally, I don't think Flyers fans should really dwell on it. Hart is a good goalie. But he's not an elite goalie. And the Flyers found themselves another one of that caliber.

I have my issues with Vegas. (Nothing to do w/Torts, I enjoyed covering him actually.) But Anaheim is a team that arrived a couple years ahead of schedule because they hired an (undeniably great) coach who should not be in the NHL based on past actions. Want them eliminated ASAP.

And I was arguing the reasoning of the guy using LeClair and Renberg as guys that proped Lindros up. Not arguing that LeClair is bad.
