This is shocking on multiple levels. A Freedom of Information request revealed that 158 individuals granted private hire licences had prior convictions for violent offences. In addition, 61 had drug-related convictions, 36 had drink-driving offences, and 4 had sexual offence convictions. Overall, the FOI showed that 438 licences were issued to individuals with criminal records in the last year alone. Further concern arises from reporting by @carolinegall1, which conflates taxi drivers with private hire drivers. These licences were granted to minicab drivers, not licensed taxi drivers - an important distinction that risks diverting attention from what is increasingly being highlighted as a very serious issue. @TfL @TfLTPH @transportgovuk @LBC @BBCNews bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

The problem, Victoria, is that all London taxis are fully wheelchair-accessible - yet they’re forced to compete on the same terms as standard saloon cars. If we’re serious about accessibility, there should be proper incentives to retain this service: zero-rated VAT on vehicles, guaranteed road access, and policies that actually support - not undermine - wheelchair-accessible transport.

If you are going to close a major artery in & out of London, then it *might* help if you ensure that other roads in the area are not closed/restricted as well. West London is in gridlock at the moment, someone has effed up.

While racist cunt Nigel Farage insists that you commute to work even though he does not, Keir Starmer has introduced legislation meaning parents of children with cancer will have travel costs covered. One is a grifting cunt. One is decent man. Simple as that. #VoteLabour

For those who say: TRUMP isthe problem. Trump isn't the one giving away our territory. Trump isn't allowing the UK to be invaded by the 3rd world. Trump isn't spending all of our taxes accommodating them once they've arrived. Trump doesn't tell us that terrorists are "Welsh choir boys." Trump didn't cover up the Pakistani Rape Gangs. Trump doesn't ban Jewish football teams because hes afraid of Muslim extremists. Trump isn't allowing the worlds biggest Chinese spy centre to be built in the heart of our capital city. Trump doesn't want to lock us up for our thoughts. Trump doesn't think we're "far right" for worrying about our wives and daughters. Trump is more on our side than our own PM Keir Starmer, who working against us. - @EvacTony

If you’re thinking of voting Reform, just take a look at the U.S. Get sick = get poor Send kids to school = teach them active shooter drills Minimum wage = £5 per hour No sick leave or holiday pay Only the ultra-wealthy do well, and they’re backing Reform!

Reform are polling on 28% Yes, that's a 10-point lead. But that level of support shows the first far-right Government in our history can still be stopped. But that requires a radical change of direction from the Labour leadership - one where it governs with real Labour values.

Real British patriots don’t: 1) cheer BBC destruction; 2) trash allies; 3) back Brexit; 4) idolise Trump; 5) echo Kremlin lies; 6) weaken NATO; 7) attack journalists; 8) weaken unions; 9) sneer at experts; 10) sell the UK short; and call it “sovereignty.”

Urging Trump to destroy the BBC is unforgivable. Truss, Badenoch & Farage would rather betray their country than offer the BBC or the government their support against a narcissistic foreign liar and a threat to independent media. An appalling betrayal. huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/trump-la…
