Kary Mullis, biochemist who invented the PCR technique, died suddenly 7 August 2019. If he’d been around when Christian Drosten ‘developed’ the Corona PCR test I doubt the world would look like it does now, and seriously doubt Faucci would have centre stage in this circus 🎪
Michael P Senger@michaelpsenger

In a 1996 interview Mullis had choice words for Anthony Fauci, then head of the US response to AIDS—especially Fauci’s misuse of PCR. Set the Ct high enough and PCR can pick up any amount of viral matter and yield endless “cases”—a permanent pandemic. 124/

@TimesRadio Aaaaaargh Sturgeon again! The self-indulgent pomposity, the preening, the theatrical catch in the voice — a fitting farewell from Scotland's greatest snake oil saleswoman. One last carefully rehearsed tremble of the lip from the woman who made a career of confusing sincerity with its cosmetic imitation. Sturgeon was never Scotland's saviour. She was the Dreghorn Gollum — a failed solicitor, a pretender, a lavender ghost, and ultimately a destroyer of women's rights. A creature of the process, not the purpose — who hoarded her Precious: the poll ratings, the grievance, the perpetually deferred referendum never meant to arrive, only to sustain. Independence was not the destination. It was the revenue model. The hospitals not reformed. The schools sliding down the international rankings. The ferries rusting at the dock — a monument in steel to the SNP's extraordinary gift for spending enormous sums to produce nothing that floats, flies, or functions. She wore the aesthetics of progressivism like a high-visibility jacket — visible, protective, entirely hollow. That it required a Alister Jack to protect Scottish women from their own devolved government is a sentence that should be carved above the door of Bute House as a historical epitaph. The Salmond affair. The deleted WhatsApps. The campervan. The six hundred thousand pounds. The husband in handcuffs. The banal farce of a political class that believed the rules were for the management of others. In the bright post-SNP future, Scottish schoolchildren will study her career as a warning of how Scotland nearly became Romania — a country with a vibrant national mythology, permanent external villains, and infrastructure that crumbled while the speeches soared. She was very, very good at the performance. Just never at anything else.

Sturgeon doesn’t do irony as she poses at International Women’s Day. She is called out by a woman who tells her that violent male prisoners are placed in women’s prisons because of her. Sturgeon replies "that bit's not true". Oh we know it’s true.

Dr Dr P: 'Gender dysphoria' is false
Dear X I need your help. As you may know, I was doxed by Fred Wallace who posted my name, picture and partial home address here on X. I made a complaint to the @metpoliceuk and today I was called back by one of their officers. Name: Pc/Officer Humphreys. Badge No. 2417. Based at Lewisham Police Station. @MPSLewisham Officer Humphreys asked what had given rise to the doxing and I told him that I hold the position that men cannot become women. He immediately, without taking a breath said "well, that's transphobic". Officer Humphries then proceeded to harangue me about my 'transphobia' and 'homophobia'. I told him that I was not confident in the way he responded and that I would be reporting him to his superiors. He said "well you won't get anywhere". I then tried to explain to him that being 'transphobic' is not a crime and that gender critical beliefs are protected under the Forstater Ruling. I also told him about the Supreme Court ruling that sex, in law, means biology and not identity. At this point in the conversation, PC Humphreys put the phone down on me. PC Humphreys seemed to have no understanding of his responsibility to act as an impartial public servant. He also seemed unconcerned that I felt threatened and that I and my family could be put at risk by the doxing. His only interest was in berating me for my beliefs. I have made an in-person complaint at Lewisham Police Station and I will be making an appointment to discuss this incident with my MP @JanetDaby We are being failed by a captured police force. @SexMattersOrg @SpeechUnion Please can you Rx this. Thank you. Dr P.

Just had to come back and give my opinion on this everyone should be worried about what’s going on in Scotland.Peter Murrell the ex husband of disgraced former FM Nicola Sturgeon was due in court on the 20th February for a preliminary hearing but that’s been put back until after the holyrood elections and will now be on the 25th May. Murrell has been charged with allegedly embezzling £459,000 over a 12 year period of which he was married to Nicola Sturgeon. My concerns are whether political pressure was put on the judiciary to move his trial to after the elections. We are told it’s just a procedural reason for the switch. We have had concerns for a long time about political interference within our police and judiciary. Is it just a coincidence that it’s been moved to after the election ? I’m not so sure. Now my other point on this is over 12 years Murrell allegedly embezzled £459K while married to the ex FM and she knew nothing about all the alleged luxury items including a campervan. The ex FM who ran Scotland and was known as someone who didn’t like to delegate and liked to run everything herself but didn’t know what was happening in her own house. If that’s true and it’s a big if then it shows why we are in a mess. Where did she think all the alleged luxury items come from and how they could afford it that’s my question to her. I’ve said many times how corrupt the SNP are and I’ve been concerned for a long time about political interference in many of our institutions. Is this just another example of this ? I’m not saying it is but it’s very suspicious. Il finish with this it’s very important there’s separation between the judiciary and politics even the slightest suspicion of political interference erodes trust with the judiciary and politicians. At a time when trust is already at an all time low here in Scotland and at WM.

This trans-identified man stabbed his 8-year-old daughter in the throat, severing her esophagus. He also stabbed his 7-year-old boy. His daughter required a feeding tube for months but a judge let him out on bail, pending sentencing. He is currently roaming the streets of BC and Alberta, living in a minivan with “Every Child Matters” painted on the outside. If you see him, stay far away. He admits he is extremely unstable, and a danger to society. His name is Alice Michael Atwood.

The SNP have just slapped a 300% business-rates bomb on Scotland’s airports. £15m extra for Edinburgh Airport alone. Routes axed. Jobs gone. Investment dead. All fully devolved. All on the SNP’s watch. This isn’t incompetence — it’s ideological sabotage. thetimes.com/article/0168f2…

David Toshack — a trainee Prison Custody Officer in Scotland— was sacked for refusing to call male prisoners “she/her”. David was praised throughout five weeks of training and participated thoughtfully in discussions, including those on managing trans prisoners. He explained that, due to his Christian beliefs and his understanding of “science, biology and reality”, he could not, in good conscience, use pronouns that conflicted with biological sex. The former army medic, who served in Iraq, Kenya and Afghanistan, said he would be more than happy to use neutral language where possible and refer to prisoners by their chosen name — a respectful compromise. His position — rightly — went unchallenged until the final week, when the safeguarding lead asked him to leave the session after he reiterated that he could only use sex-based pronouns. David was taken to HR and immediately dismissed for being “not suitable” due to his “strong beliefs”. Usual disciplinary channels were ignored, and no attempt was made to accommodate those beliefs. The company — GeoAmey — claimed David’s refusal to use preferred pronouns was incompatible with “the law”, despite the belief he expressed being protected under the Equality Act 2010. Last April, the Supreme Court ruled unanimously that, under the Equality Act, a woman is defined by biological sex, not gender identity. The Free Speech Union is supporting David’s challenge to his dismissal. The failings in this case suggest the decision was predetermined, and that the real issue was David’s lawful gender-critical beliefs — not his competence or conduct. David’s case could set an important legal precedent against compelled ideological conformity in the workplace. Nobody should lose their livelihood for expressing lawful and protected beliefs. Please do support David by contributing to his crowdfunder at the link below 👇

This is not about party politics or personalities. It is about whether Scotland still believes that public office comes with duties, not just authority. When the independent regulator has to ask the highest court in the land to compel basic compliance, the problem is not the paperwork. The problem is power that has grown too comfortable with being unanswerable. And once a government decides the rules do not apply to it, trust is not eroded gradually. It breaks.

This is an extraordinary moment, and not in a good way. The Scottish Information Commissioner has been forced to take the Scottish Government to the Court of Session for refusing to comply with a lawful Freedom of Information ruling. Not misunderstanding it. Not appealing it. Ignoring it. This is the first time this has ever happened. Freedom of Information is not a suggestion. It is not a favour granted by ministers when reputational risk is low. It is a statutory obligation that exists precisely to stop power marking its own homework. When a government misses deadline after deadline, even after formal warning of legal action, it is no longer a question of administration. It is a question of attitude. Delay becomes defiance. For those of us running charities, this is deeply uncomfortable to watch. We operate under relentless scrutiny. Every decision, invoice and governance choice must withstand inspection. Non-compliance is not shrugged off as a misunderstanding. It carries consequences. Yet here we have a government apparently prepared to test how far it can ignore the very transparency rules it enforces on everyone else. That is not a minor procedural failure. It is institutional arrogance. Freedom of Information only works if those in power accept that it limits them. When a government treats disclosure as optional, accountability collapses into performance. This is not about party politics or personalities. It is about whether Scotland still believes that public office comes with duties, not just authority. @Psychosunf69318 @Serena_Partrick @mik61scot I agree, unlikely he’ll face consequences but, it’ll now slide over to another panel (EAT) to determine the points on appeal (of which there will be many I suspect) then he’ll fall into obscurity 🤷‍♀️
