@jjthomas06 I have moved, so it’s been a while….i saw Sting on his Fields of Gold tour, maybe 1993? As a Police fan I was pumped, So disappointed. Sting played for about 50 minutes and then left.

@jjthomas06 I have seen many concerts at Pine Knob. Lived right near it. The last one was Kid Rock a long time ago.

I faced off against, at the time #1 USA ranked Tommy Hearns there in 1977 or 1978. 😎 Fond memories. An old time promoter from Pontiac, Pat Duggan with roots in the Soo arranged Detroit Kronk vs Kalamazoo Boxing Academy and a few top fighter from Canada thrown in the mix to be held in da UP aye, of all places. I was the only white dude on the KBA team and i kid you not, my teammates were so freaked out not seeing another black face in the Soo they insisted we pack up and drive back to Kalamazoo in the middle of the night after the card! 🤣
