‘मैं मालदा के एक गांव में मिले परिवार को नहीं भूला हूं। परिवार के दो बेटों की हत्या कर दी गई थी। कमाने वाला कोई नहीं था। घर पहुंचा तो सिर्फ सास और बहू मिलीं। पहले सास मिलने आईं। तन पर सिर्फ एक धोती थी। फिर वो अंदर गईं, तो बहू मिलने आई। उन्होंने भी वही धोती पहन रखी थी।’
’पूछने पर पता चला कि घर में सिर्फ दो धोतियां थीं। एक फटी थी, इसलिए दोनों बारी-बारी एक ही धोती पहनकर मिलने आईं। मकान गिरने की हालत में था। उस वक्त मेरे पास जितने पैसे थे, उन्हें देकर लौट आया। मैंने ये बात गृह मंत्री अमित शाह को बताई। तब उन्होंने ऐसे जरूरतमंद कार्यकर्ताओं की लिस्ट बनाकर खर्च के मुताबिक, उन्हें मदद पहुंचाने को कहा।’
’इन परिवारों के लिए 8 से 10 हजार रु. महीने के तय किए गए और ये मदद अब तक जारी है। बंगाल में चुनाव के बाद नंदीग्राम, संदेशखाली, कूचबिहार, हावड़ा, हुगली और 24 परगना समेत कई जगहों पर रेप, हत्या और आगजनी की घटनाएं हुईं। आरोप TMC के गुंडों पर लगे। ये कार्यकर्ता और उनके परिवार उसी हिंसा के शिकार थे।’
ये किस्सा यूपी BJP के प्रदेश मंत्री अभिजात मिश्रा ने बताया। वह बंगाल में बीजेपी के लिए काम कर रहे थे।

Honestly, the solution isn’t complicated if we want to reduce this trend.
We just need more balance and responsibility in public discourse:
- Avoid rhetoric that provokes Sanatanis.
- Don’t generalize second largest minority as victims based on isolated incidents -context and nuance matter.
If we move toward fairness instead of selective narratives, the outcome will be far more positive.

TMC attempted shield the culprits. Ratna defeated TMC candidate by 28,000+ votes - Kalita Maji is a maid who worked at four different houses to sustain her life.
