Think overtime and unsocial hours payments are on top of the above figure. Genuine question, when will train drivers be satisfied?

Tube drivers are striking for a 32 hour working week, and 75% discounts on all national rail travel. Their base salary is currently £70,182 pa. For a job so demanding some see fit to knit, watch TV, and occasionally press a button to operate doors.

@bencsmoke They are already well rested (35 hour week) which is less than the average Brit and drivers earn a basic salary of £68k plus shift allowances AND overtime. The AVERAGE TFL tube drivers wage earns between £80k and £100k a year. This makes their job one of the best paid in the UK!!
