There is breed of financial advisors in India, otherwise very intelligent people, but only want to buy regardless. I can’t comprehend how basic risk management (how many years of your earnings) is missing. Volatility, moving averages, standard deviation are completely alien to them. Too much brain washing.

Anybody that had any asset (value, momentum, crony, gold, crypto, camellias, diversified etc.) and bought it progressively over a decade, all multiplied their wealth so much that everyday volatility in their asset is higher than their monthly or even annual market salary. And if the weekly 2 standard deviation takes out a decade of your market income, wouldn’t you want to derisk it?!

The velocity in which Anthropic ships is unlike anything I've ever seen I'm sorry, but we have to assume they have access to an AGI like model that nobody else in the world has correct? They are simply holding it back so they can ship industry changing updates daily?
