This man called for an Uber to take him to the airport while traveling in Egypt. The price was 250 Egyptian pounds whose is about $4.83 cents. The driver stops in the middle of the highway and now is demanding instead of the amount that was agreed on, that he wanted $250 USD instead of Egyptian pounds. The driver is still refusing to drive, the problem is if the man gets out, the driver will more than likely take off and steal his luggage as well. Paying him more isn’t an option either because at this point he’s almost holding you hostage because he knows you don’t have many options, what would you do in this scenario?
SonnyBoy🇺🇸@gotrice2024

This man was walking to the stadium when a man walked up to him and tied a “free” home made bracelet around his wrist for a festival that’s coming to town. After he does that he asks for a donation of 25 euros to help support Africa. When the man says he didn’t have any cash on him, the man the pulls his phone out and tells him to enter his info for a card donation payment. Should the man have just refused the bracelet, would you have given him 25 euros to help support Africa?

@Alt_Azn I imagine the vapes are more difficult to detect because there isn’t as much of a smell for the THC vapes. We had tons of people smoking in high school, but it wasn’t until harder drugs came around that people would get in trouble for like meth, opiates etc

Was talking to some high school kid and he told me all the kids are bringing THC vapes to school and vaping all day long. When I was in high school some kid brought a joint to school, the cops were called and he was expelled.

@Tablesalt13 Alberta is conservative, but the cities are liberal cesspools. Property taxes keep going up for council projects and there isn’t enough voters that give a shit to remove these incompetent municipal politicians and clear house of the bureaucracy that’s been there for decades.

—His mom sued him in 2022. —In 2024, he lost the NBA Finals. —In 2025, he lost his team and his city. —In 2026, his wife left him. —He could lose custody of his daughters, half of his fortune, and even his puppies. Imagine being an NBA star and fulfilling your dream but having no one waiting for you at home. Not your wife, not your kids, not your mom. 💔 Because this is what depression in men is: SILENT. No one comforts us. We still have to do the job, even if we are broken inside. We understand you Luka Doncic!

@davidonchainx On top of that, if you really wanna save money, you keep it somewhere where there’s little to no capital gains which ends up being somewhere out of North America, where the investment vehicles aren’t always the same.

@davidonchainx Realistically, you’re gonna need more money because no account pays those kind of percentages. If I can make 8% passively that feels secure enough but then I have to find something during the year to make up the difference through actively investing.

@anymanfitness I’m the same way, but my wife organizes a small little party every year. Sometimes it’s just her and our daughters depending where we are. Other members of our family simply skip having a party which I appreciate because I don’t have to go to another birthday party 😏

Every year my mother in law asks me when we are going to “celebrate” my birthday and every year I tell her I don’t want to. 45 year old men shouldn’t even acknowledge the day, they should just go about their business.

Again, skipping our annual family summer vacation to Kelowna for the third straight year in a row. The changes that the city and province made to their accommodations has changed it dramatically. Now you get a basement suite for $400 to $500/night. If others like me doing this, has to be a huge economic consequence to the city, which I absolutely love by the way - so many great people live there. Last year it was cheaper for me to spend two weeks on the Italian Amalfi Coast than go to BC. This year headed to the American south! Starting in Nashville and then road trip! Open to recommendations from there!!

What the people steering the gaming industry don't understand is that I don't have to spend any more money on gaming ever again. I have thousands of games, I already own the hardware that can play all of it. I'm set, and there are plenty of people like me out there. So if you don't make something that interests us or you insert scummy monetization everywhere, you're going to see people lose interest. We are already seeing a big drop in spending.

I’ve gone over to full outdoor grows during our short summers. Not great for smoke in comparison to my indoor but for edibles and bubble hash it’s been fantastic. 90% gets donated to my local elders suffering from one thing or another while I learn about breeding 🤣

Photo growers, is there a proper way to “flip” to 12hrs of light? Do you just hard switch it from 18/6 to 12, or should you gradually decrease day by day till you’re at 12 hrs? I’m getting close to my first flip.

Doctor says he fears his profession will be overtaken by AI, says patients are coming in with questions that doctors can't answer. "I am truly feeling that our days are numbered because of AI." "That is because, at least my patients, are coming in with very, very difficult questions." "They're using these AI chatbots to get a lot of base information that they would get from their doctor."
