THE FISHBACK RESIDENCY CASE HAS NOW BEEN NARROWED TO THE FACTS, AND THE FACTS ARE DEVASTATING. In a joint court filing, James Fishback agreed to most of the evidence surrounding his Washington, D.C. residency. He agreed that he purchased a $400,000 Washington condominium, financed it with a mortgage, used a D.C. address on years of federal and District tax filings, received consulting income at a Washington address, and received a D.C. homestead deduction through early 2026. He also agreed that when he bought his Madison, Florida property in 2022, he signed a letter saying it would become his “new primary residence” while the Washington property would become a second home or investment. THAT WORDING MATTERS Florida’s Constitution requires a Governor to have resided in Florida for the seven years immediately preceding the election. The relevant period began November 4, 2019. Fishback disputes the D.C. voter records showing that he registered and voted there in 2020, his continuing active D.C. voter status, and who requested removal of the homestead deduction. But he does not dispute the larger paper trail. This case is no longer about rumors or political opposition research. It is about voter records, property records, tax filings, mortgage documents, homestead benefits, and Fishback’s own signed statements. ⁉️The question before the court is now simple: Was James Fishback continuously a Florida resident for the full seven years required by the Florida Constitution, or did his own records establish Washington, D.C. as his residence during that period?

Probably one of the bigger late night lightning storms around Orlando in quite a long time. 3,000+ individual bolts in the last 2 hours. Probably enhanced some by the added static electricity the Saharan dust is adding. Have seen some hints at downbursts already. Storms forming on the leading edge of the dust plume tonight.

They’re not buying Byron.
