Another animal rescue was busted. Over 300 animals on the property (initial reports estimated 700, but that number appears inaccurate). 25 years of operating. The rescue has been struggling for the past 9 years. It is easy to throw stones and judge. Do we ever ask ourselves, how did it get there? I am not defending the hoarder rescue. I am only asking a question: how did it get to that point? It always starts with good intentions, and the inability to say enough. From what I have read, people who know the rescue operator personally think she wanted to save them all from euthanasia. That's a dangerous mentality. You can't save them all. Rule of thumb: every staff or volunteer can only take care of 10 animals a day. 6 minutes of feeding time, 9 minutes of cleaning the kennel, and a minimum of 30 minutes of enrichment or playtime outside. That's the very minimum requirement to keep any animals in good physical and mental health.

In the end, it depends on how the potential deal unfolds @CarlBovisNature. If the deal is worth more than a few thousand pounds or involves exclusivity/perpetual rights, then it will be wise to spend 1 hour with a real IP solicitor (many now offer fixed-fee “contract health-check” packages, probably around £250). But if the deal is below that value, it's unreasonable to spend £200–300 on a middleman just for a small contract agreement. That's basic common sense.

Stop using commercial shampoo to bathe your dog; use only warm water to rinse any dirt, and use ACV solution to get rid of any odors. The natural oil on their fur is their first defender against fleas and ticks; you're destroying that by using commercial shampoo.

I need a timeline cleanse. Meet Duds, a Dogo Argentino mix I saved from his owners and the rescue that adopted him out. I fostered him for 3 months before he was adopted. The fight against animal cruelty should be a bipartisan priority. Ignoring the fact that people who abuse animals are 100% likely to be violent toward humans is appalling to me.
