I've discovered a retail business in NYC that generates nearly twice the revenue-per-square-foot as the world's highest selling retailer.
No financial services, no weird gimmicks, it's selling honest to good consumer products and staples.

Life update - after 12 incredible months at dYdX/@arcus_xyz, I have made the very tough decision to continue working here.
We will slowly but methodically destroy lighter until every last cent of their OI finds a new comfortable home at our superior perps exchange.

btw, in case you're living under a rock like me,
do you know that you can directly do a swap from any chain to any other chain on uniswap? like you can just swap directly from eth to RH chain, or from base chain to RH chain.

So its been almost a week after ethereum:0x232ce3bd40fcd6f80f3d55a522d03f25df784ee2 launched on Robinhood Chain and I was curious how they were doing. Their 24h volume numbers don't look bad. My sampling of their API shows 1.44M of notional volume on their perps dex, mostly in RWA perps. Where this 1.44M volume is coming from is what is concerning. These trades are almost exclusively Lighter's maker desk and protocol pool trading between each other. Almost 100% of the trades in the top 2 markets were just this. Just back and forth trading between internal accounts. Left pocket to right pocket.
